Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi belajar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak melalui penerapan Model Pembelajaran High/Scope (Plan Do Review) pada anak kelompok A TK Rembulan Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai pengaruh Model Pembelajaran High/Scope (Plan Do Review) terhadap motivasi belajar anak kelompok A di TK Rembulan tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group design pre-test post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi motivasi belajar anak usia dini dengan reliabilitas tinggi sebesar 0,61 serta lima butir pernyataan validitas tinggi, satu butir validitas sedang, dan satu butir tidak valid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran High/Scope (Plan Do Review) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar anak kelompok A TK Rembulan tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Dengan mengambil taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 diperoleh taraf signifikansi (2-Tailed) sebesar 0.000. karena 0.000 kurang dari 0.05 maka H0 ditolak yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata motivasi yang signifikan antara sebelum diterapkan dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran High/Scope (Plan Do Review). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran High/Scope (Plan Do Review) berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia dini sehingga dapat menjadi referensi model dan metode pembelajaran untuk diterapkan oleh guru di kelas. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, hendaknya dapat meneliti kembali permasalahan yang ada dengan model, metode, strategi, teknik, media serta menggunakan metodologi penelitian yang berbeda khususnya dalam aspek motivasi belajar anak usia dini, sehingga dapat menjadi masukan dalam mengoptimalkan pendidikan anak usia dini. This study was designed to improve the child's motivation to learn through the application of High/Scope Learning Model (Plan Do Review) children group A of Rembulan Kindergarten Bandung academic year 2013/2014. The purpose of this research was to obtain an overview of the effects High/Scope (Plan Do Review) Learning Model on children’s learning motivation in Rembulan Kindergarten group A at academic year 2013/2014. The method used is pre-experiment with one group design research pre-test post-test . The instrument used is the observation of early childhood learning motivation with high reliability of 0.61 and a five-point statement of high validity, one validity medium grain, and one grain is invalid . The results showed that the High/Scope (Plan Do Review) learning model significantly affect the children's learning motivation. By taking a significance level α= 0.05 significance level was obtained (2-Tailed) of 0.000 because 0.000 is less than 0.05 then H0 is rejected, which means there is an average difference between the significant motivation before and after application of applied High / Scope (Plan Do Review) learning model. It can be concluded that the High/Scope (Plan Do Review) learning model effect on learning motivation of early childhood so that it can be reference models and learning methods to be applied by the teacher in the classroom. For further research , should be able to re-examine the existing problems with the different models, methods, strategies, techniques, media and using different research methodologies, especially in aspects of early childhood learning motivation, so it can be addressed by optimizing early childhood education.
