Abstract

ABSTRAK Rika Asterina Ariadi (2020) “Pengembangan Desain Pembelajaran Jaring-Jaring Kubus berdasarkan Analisis Etnomatematika Permainan Engklek”. Pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya penting untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran karena budaya bersifat menyuluruh yang berkembang di masyarakat dan pembelajaran merupakan kebutuhan dasar bagi setiap individu untuk mengembangkan tingkat berpikir seseorang. Etnomatematika merupakan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya. Etnomatematika permainan engklek mengandung unsur geometri yaitu jaring-jaring kubus. Namun, anak belum menyadari bahwa pola lintasan permainan engklek kapal terbang dapat membentuk jaring-jaring kubus. Hal tersebut menjadi hambatan belajar (learning obstacle) siswa sebagai dasar yang melatarbelakangi pelaksanaan penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan sebuah desain pembelajaran jaring-jaring kubus. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 28 siswa kelas VI di SDN Serang 13 dan 10 orang siswa kelas V di lingkungan rumah tempat tinggal peneliti dengan menggunakan metode Didactical Design Research (DDR) melalui tiga tahapan. Pertama, mengindentifikasi hasil uji instrumen learning obstacle awal untuk menyusun desain didaktis awal, kedua analisis metapedadidaktik dengan mengimplementasikan desain didaktis awal, dan ketiga analisis retrospektif dengan merevisi desain didaktis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa desain didaktis dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi learning obstacle siswa, namun penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan karena pada saat penelitian terhambat COVID-19 yang mengharuskan masyarakat untuk membatasi kontak fisik satu sama lain sehingga desain didaktis yang telah disusun dapat dikembangkan lagi agar lebih mampu mengurangi dan mengatasi hambatan belajar (learning obstacle) siswa.   ABSTRACT Rika Asterina Ariadi (2020) “The Development of Cube Nets Learning Design based on Ethnomathematics Analysis Towards Engklek Games”. Culture-based mathematics learning is important to be applied in the learning process because the overall culture Characteristic that develops in the community and learning is a basic requirement for every individual to develop one's level of thinking. Ethnomathematics is a mathematical approach that is associated with cultural elements in society. The ethnomathematics of Engklek game contains geometric elements, which are cube nets. However, children have not yet realized that the flying ship patterns of Engklek game can form cube nets. This is a barrier to learning (learning obstacle) for students which becomes the basis for this research. The purpose of this research is to develop a learning design of cube nets. This research was conducted on 28 students in grade VI at SDN Serang 13 and 10 students in grade V at the researcher's residence using the Didactical Design Research (DDR) method through three stages. First, identifying the results of the initial obstacle learning instrument test to compile the initial didactic design, secondly the methadactic analysis by implementing the initial didactic design, and thirdly the retrospective analysis by comparing the results of the initial and the final learning obstacle tests. The results of this study indicate that the didactic design is effective to use for overcoming student learning obstcale, but this study has its limitations because the research was hampered by COVID-19 which requires to limit physical contact with each other therefore the didactic design that has been prepared can be further developed so that it is more capable in reducing student learning obstacles.
