Abstract

ABSTRAK. Sistem Penerangan jalan umum dirancang untuk memberikan kenyamanan kepada pengguna dengan mempertimbangkan aspek hemat energi, kualitas pencahayaan dan kesesuaian dengan standar pencahayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil optimalisasi desain ulang penerangan jalan umum menggunakan metode kecerdasan buatan yaitu Genetic Algorithm. Algoritma ini diterapkan berdasarkan hubungan antara penggunaan energi dan parameter penerangan jalan umum seperti rata-rata iluminasi, lebar jalan, tinggi tiang, serta berbagai parameter lainnya yang sesuai dengan standar pencahayaan di Indonesia. Proses perancangan ulang dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak MATLAB untuk simulasi Genetic Algorithm dan DIALux untuk implementasi hasil desain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ini sangat baik dan direkomendasikan kepada perancang dalam menentukan parameter desain. ABSTRACT. Street lighting system is designed to give comfort to users by considering the energy saving aspect, lighting quality and suitability with the lighting standard. This research aims to describe the results of optimizing the redesign of street-lighting using the artificial intelligence method, Genetic Algorithm. This algorithm is applied based on the relationship between energy use and public street lighting parameters such as the average illumination, wide roads, high pole, and various other parameters that correspond to the lighting standards in Indonesia. The redesign process is using MATLAB for Genetic Algorithm simulation and DIALux for implement of design results. The results of this study indicate that this method is very good and recommended to the designer in determining the design parameters.
