Abstract

Dalam pembuatan karya, inspirasi bisa datang dari mana saja diantaranya suasana kehidupan sehari hari, dan mengamati perkembangan zaman. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, melalui skripsi penciptaan ini, penulis ingin menghadirkan visualisasi dari keadaan masyarakat khususnya milenial. Milenial merupakan generasi yang sangat berkaitan dengan pola gaya hidup (lifestyle) dan juga teknologi. Hal ini membuat penulis memiliki keterkaitan yang kuat karena penulis saat ini merasakan sendiri bagaimana menjalani kehidupan di era milenial. Gaya hidup dan hobi menjadi rutinitas sehari-hari sehingga mau tidak mau harus mengikuti trendsetter agar tidak ketinggalan oleh jaman. Semua itu menunjukan bahwa milenial adalah hal yang menarik saat ini, karena berkaitan dengan kebiasaan dan keseharian. Penulis ingin mengembangkan gagasan Milenial ke dalam karya seni lukis dan membuat visualisasi Milenial dalam pembuatan lukis. Metode yang digunakan melalui tahapan ide berkarya, stimulasi, dan kontemplasi kemudian penciptaan karya dan deskripsi visual karya. Dalam prosesnya, dimulai dari persiapan alat dan bahan kemudian lanjut dalam proses berkarya. Lukisan yang dibuat berjumlah 4 buah dengan ukuran 150x60cm dan 120x95cm dengan posisi vertikal dan horizontal. Melalui karya ini, penulis ingin menyampaikan bagaimana milenial beserta kebiasaan masyarakat dari segi konsumsi. In making works, inspiration can come from anywhere including the atmosphere of daily life, and observe the times. In this regard, through this thesis of creation, the author wants to present a visualization of the state of society especially millennial. Millennial is a generation that is closely related to lifestyle patterns and technology. This makes the writer have a strong connection because the current writer feels for himself how to live life in the millennial era. Lifestyle and hobbies become daily routines so that inevitably have to follow trendsetters so as not to lag behind the times. All of that shows that millennial is an interesting things now, because it is relate to habits and daily life. The method used is through the stages of ides of work, stimulation, and contemplation then the creation of works and visual descriptions of works. In the process, starting from the preparation of tools and materials then continuing in the process of creating. There were 4 paintings made in sizes 150x60cm and 120x95cm in vertical and horizontal positions. Through this work, the author wants to convey how millennial and their habits are terms of consumption.
