Abstract

Badan Pusat Statistik Yogyakarta menunjukan bahwa jumlah pertumbuhan wisatawan mancanegara pada periode 2014 hingga 2018 mengalami pertumbuhan. Dengan demikian tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor motivasi apa saja yang mempengaruhi wisatawan untuk menonton pertunjukan seni budaya di Yogyakarta serta untuk menganalisis faktor motivasi apa yang paling dominan. Data dikumpulkan dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 120 responden yang menonton pertunjukan seni budaya di Yogyakarta. Metode kuantitatif inferensial dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik analisis faktor untuk dapat menjawab rumusan masalah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari 20 faktor pendorong dan 14 faktor penarik yang dianalisis, terdapat 7 faktor pendorong yang terbentuk yaitu faktor Fulfilling-Related Self Purpose, Social Experience, Relationship, Passive Participant, Active Participant, Relaxation, dan Learning Experience. Serta faktor penarik yang terbentuk ada 3 faktor yaitu faktor Accessibility, Valuable Authenticity, dan Safety. Faktor dominan yang didapat pada penelitian ini yaitu faktor Fulfilling-Related Self Purpose dari faktor pendorong dan faktor Accessibility dari faktor penarik. The central bureau of statistics showed that the number of yogyakarta growth foreign tourists during the period until 2018 to 2014 Thus the purpose of this research is to identify the motivation that affect tourists to watching a cultural arts performance in yogyakarta and to analyze the motivation that most dominant. Data were collected from a questionnaire to be distributed to 120 respondents who watching cultural performance. Quantitative methods inferential selected using analysis techniques factor for answering the formulation. The result of this research shows that of the 20 attributes push factors and 14 attribute pull factors analyzed , there are 7 motivational factors formed namely Fulfilling-Related Self Purpose factor, Social Experience, Relationship, Passive Participant, Active Participant, Relaxation, and Learning Experience. As well as a pull factors there are 3 factors namely, Accessibility factor, Valuable Authenticity and Safety. The dominant factor acquired in this research which is a factor of Fulfilling-Related Self Purpose of push factors and such as Accessibility factor of pull factors.
