Abstract

Sumber daya manusia mampu menentukan maju atau mundurnya suatu organisasi dan memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan setiap organisasi. Salah satu masalah pokok dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia adalah bagaimana mencari cara yang terbaik untuk mencapai kepuasan karyawan. Untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan kerja karyawan salah satu caranya adalah dengan mengetahui perasaan karyawan terhadap aspek-aspek pekerjaannya (Quality of Work Life). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kondisi quality of worklife di PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban Jawa Barat di Bandung, mengetahui tingkat kepuasan kerja di PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban Jawa Barat di Bandung, mengetahui pengaruh quality of worklife terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban Jawa Barat di Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah quantitative method, dan pengambilan data dengan cara penyebaran kuisioner. Adapun unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT PLN Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban Jawa Barat di Bandung dengan jumlah sampel 80 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kondisi quality of work life baik, tingkat kepuasan kerja tinggi, pengaruh quality of work life terhadap kepuasan kerja termasuk pada kategori kuat. Apabila kepuasan kerja rendah akan berdampak negatif pada PT PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban Jawa Barat di Bandung seperti semangat kerja menurun, produktifitas lebih rendah dan menyebabkan lingkungan sosial yang tidak sehat serta menurunnya kinerja karyawan. One of the main problems in human resource management is how to find the best way to achieve employee satisfaction. To measure the level of employee satisfaction one way is to know the feeling of employees towards the aspects of his job (Quality of Work Life). The purpose of this research is to determine the condition of the quality of worklife in the PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban of West Java in Bandung, determine the level of job satisfaction in PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban of West Java in Bandung, to know the influence of quality of worklife on the job satisfaction of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban of West Java in Bandung. The method used is a quantitative method, and retrieval of data by means of questionnaires. The unit of analysis in this research is employees of PT PLN Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban of West Java in Bandung with a total sample of 80 respondents. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression with the aids of computer software Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for windows. The results showed that the conditions of quality of work life better, the level of job satisfaction is high, the influence of quality of work life on job satisfaction is included in the strong. If job satisfaction is low will have a negative impact on PT PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengatur Beban of West Java in Bandung such as morale decreases, productivity is low and leads to a social environment that is not healthy as well as declining employee performance.
