Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran sejarah yang masih bersifat normatif tanpa membahas lebih mendalam kaitan antara peristiwa sejarah masa lalu dengan situasi dan kondisi saat ini, sehingga siswa tidak mampu memahami dan menghayati makna tersirat dari setiap peristiwa sejarah. Permasalahan tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya historical comprehension dan historical analysis and interpretation siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran CTL dengan strategi REACT terhadap pengembangan historical comprehension dan historical analysis and interpretation siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia di kelas X SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran CTL dengan strategi REACT terhadap pengembangan historical comprehension siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia. 2. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran CTL dengan strategi REACT terhadap pengembangan historical analysis and interpretation siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia. 3. Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pengembangan historical comprehension dan historical analysis and interpretation dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran CTL dengan strategi REACT. 4. Terdapat respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran CTL dengan strategi REACT. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaraan CTL dengan strategi REACT dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia lebih efektif mengembangkan historical comprehension dan historical analysis and interpretation siswa. THE EFFECT OF CTL LEARNING WITH REACT STRATEGY ON STUDENTS’ ABILITIES DEVELOPMENT OF HISTORICAL COMPREHENSION AND HISTORICAL ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION IN LEARNING INDONESIAN HISTORY (Quasi-experimental Research in SMK Negeri 11 Bandung) Hena Gian Hermana ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the learning of history that is still normative without discussing more deeply the relationship between past historical events with the current situation and conditions, so students are not able to understand and appreciate the implicit meaning of each historical event. These problems have an impact on the low historical comprehension and historical analysis and interpretation of students in learning Indonesian history. This study aims to determine the effect of learning CTL with REACT strategy on the development of historical comprehension and historical analysis and interpretation of students in learning Indonesian history in class X SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. This study uses a quasi-experimental research method. The results of this study are as follows: 1. There is a significant effect of CTL learning with the REACT strategy on the development of students' historical comprehension in learning Indonesian history. 2. There is a significant influence of CTL learning with REACT strategy on the development of students' historical analysis and interpretation in learning Indonesian history. 3. There is a difference in the influence of conventional learning on the development of historical comprehension and historical analysis and interpretation with students who get CTL learning with the REACT strategy. 4. There is a positive response from students towards learning CTL with the REACT strategy. These results indicate that learning CTL with the REACT strategy in learning Indonesian History is more effective in developing students' historical comprehension and historical analysis and interpretation.
