Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh outdoor education terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa di Pondok Pesantren. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi rendahnya kecerdasan emosional siswa baru di pondok pesantren yang kerap kali dijadikan suatu alasan siswa putus sekolah, karena perbedaan kebiasaan dirumah dengan pondok pesantren. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren MA Darul Arqam Garut. Sample penelitian ini adalah siswa putra, kelas X, berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Dalam pengambilan sample peneliti menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument berupa angket kecerdasan emosional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa outdoor education memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa di Pondok Pesantren. This study aims to determine and test the effect of outdoor education on students' emotional intelligence at Islamic boarding schools. This research is motivated by the low emotional intelligence of new students in Islamic boarding school which is often used as an excuse for students dropping out of school, due to differences in habits at home with boarding schools. The method used in this research is an experimental method using One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign research design. The population of this research is the tenth grade students at the MA Darul Arqam Garut Islamic Boarding School. The sample of this study is male students, class X, totaling 20 students. In taking samples researchers used a purposive sampling technique. This study uses an instrument in the form of an emotional intelligence questionnaire. The results showed that outdoor education had a significant influence on the emotional intelligence of students at Islamic boarding schools.
