Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan Satuan Pendidikan (PPLSP), kompetensi sosial merupakan hal yang acap kali luput untuk diperhatikan oleh mahasiswa praktikan PPLSP, Guru Pamong, serta dosen pembimbing sehingga tidak jarang memicu timbulnya masalah dalam penyelenggaraan program tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui gambaran umum mengenai tingkat penguasaan kompetensi sosial mahasiswa praktikan PPLSP pada aspek: 1) Bersikap inklusif, bertindak objektif, serta tidak diskriminatif; 2) Berkomunikasi secara efektif, empatik, dan santun; 3) Beradaptasi di tempat bertugas; dan 4) Berkomunikasi dengan komunitas profesi sendiri dan profesi lain. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden Guru Pamong, mahasiswa, dan siswa yang tersebar di empat sekolah mitra tempat pelaksanaan PPLSP Prodi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri FPTK UPI Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 yang telah ditentukan sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu SMK Negeri 1 Mundu Cirebon, SMK PP Negeri Lembang, SMK Negeri 1 Sukaluyu, dan SMK Negeri 4 Garut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum mengenai tingkat penguasaan kompetensi sosial mahasiswa praktikan PPLSP pada aspek “Bersikap inklusif, bertindak objektif, serta tidak diskriminatif”, “Berkomunikasi secara efektif, empatik, dan santun”, dan “Berkomunikasi dengan komunitas profesi sendiri dan profesi lain” berdasarkan penilaian seluruh responden berada dalam kategori “Tinggi”. Pada aspek “Beradaptasi di tempat bertugas”, penilaian responden Guru Pamong dan responden mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil yang berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan penilaian responden siswa menunjukkan hasil yang berada dalam kategori sedang. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Sosial, PPLSP, Mahasiswa Praktikan ABSTRACT The implementation of student teaching internship programs (PPLSP) has one occur a problem that was a less noticed of social competencies skills by a participant, school guidance counselor, and also university supervisor. The problem caused an incompatibility with the program. The purpose of this study was to determine the general description of social competencies mastery by the student-teacher as a participant of the student teaching internship program. It consists of four aspects namely: 1) To be inclusive, act objective, and not to be discriminative; 2) To be communicative, emphatic, and mannered; 3) Adaptable; 4) Communicate with the own professional community and others. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data was obtained through a questionnaire that was distributed to a few respondents that were a school guidance counselor, student-teacher, and vocational high school student which scattered in four schools in West Java. The respondent that chooses to be a sample originated from four schools partner where the student teaching internship participant of program study Agroindustrial Technology Education in the first semester of odd academic 2019/2020 was conducted, namely Vocational School of Mundu Cirebon 1, Vocational school of PP Lembang, Vocational school of Sukaluyu 1, and Vocational school of Garut 4. The result shows that social competencies mastery by student-teacher including the aspects of “To be inclusive, act objective, and not to be discriminative”, “To be communicative, emphatic, and mannered”, and “Communicate with the own professional community and others” has been stated “High” based on all of respondent's assessment. On the "Adaptable" aspect, the result shows that the assessment of school guidance counselor and student-teacher has been stated "High", meanwhile the result by vocational high school student assessment has been stated "Medium".
