Abstract

Penelitian mengenai kontradiksi antara pemahaman guru dan perilaku keadilan sosial ini dilakukan di sebuah Lembaga Taman Kanak-kanak yang ada di Kota Bandung. Partisipan dari penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak tiga orang guru yang mengajar kurang lebih selama sepuluh tahun di kelas yang beragam. Penelitian dilakukan di dua kelas untuk melihat interaksi guru dengan anak dan anak dengan anak berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep keadilan sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kontradiksi antara pemahaman guru dan perilaku keadilan sosial Pada Taman Kanak-kanak X di Kota Bandung. Penelitian dilakukan karena tingkat keragaman peserta didik khususnya pada jenjang Pendidikan anak usia dini yang semakin meningkat sehingga menyebabkan semakin terbukanya peluang untuk ketidakadilan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Selain itu sistem Pendidikan AUD berada pada tahap dimana standar-standar dibuat dan diterapkan untuk semua tanpa mempertimbangkan perbedaan latar belakang dan tingkat keragaman anak yang semakin meningkat. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi analisis paradigma interpretatif. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan fakta bahwa guru memiliki pemahaman tersendiri mengenai konsep keadilan sosial namun, apa yang diungkapkan guru tidak sesuai dengan apa yang terjadi di lapangan. Guru mengganggap bahwa anak usia dini belum bisa memahami isu-isu sosial. Selain itu, guru juga masih memberlakukan praktik-praktik yang hanya merugikan atau menguntungkan satu pihak saja dan tentunya bertentangan dengan prinsip keadilan sosial.----------Research on the contradiction between teacher understanding and social justice behavior is carried out in a kindergarten institution in the city of Bandung. Participants from this study were as many as three teachers who taught approximately ten years in diverse classes. The study was conducted in two classes to see the teacher's interaction with children and children with children in relation to understanding the concept of social justice. The purpose of this study is to find out the contradiction between teacher understanding and social justice behavior in kindergarten X in the city of Bandung. The study was carried out because of the level of diversity of students, especially at the level of early childhood education that is increasing, causing more open opportunities for injustices in classroom learning. In addition the Early Childhood Education system is at a stage where standards are created and applied to all without considering the increasing diversity of backgrounds and levels of child diversity. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with an interpretative paradigm analysis study. From this study, it was found that the teacher had his own understanding of the concept of social justice, however, what the teacher revealed was not in accordance with what happened in the field. The teacher considers that early childhood cannot understand social issues. In addition, the teacher also still applies practices that only harm or benefit one party and are certainly contrary to the principle of social justice.
