Abstract

Ketidakmampuan anak berkonsentrasi dalam belajar menyebabkan anak sulit untuk mengikuti proses belajar mengajar di kelas, kesulitan memahami perintah sederhana yang diberikan guru, selain itu anak juga memiliki kemampuan kognitif yang kurang baik dan belum mampu dalam penggunaan bahasa verbal dalam berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan konsentrasi belajar anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis di SLB Purnama Asih, Bandung Barat melalui terapi musik klasik Mozart. Hal yang dikembangkan adalah terapi musik klasik Mozart untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode eksperimen dan rancangan subjek tunggal atau Single Subjek Research (SRR). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terapi musik klasik Mozart ini memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan konsentrasi belajar subjek. Secara keseluruhan konsentrasi belajar subjek mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikannya Intervensi. Mean level subjek pada fase pertama yaitu baseline-1 (A-1) adalah 3,27 menit, pada fase Intervensi (B) adalah 4,82 menit, dan fase terakhir yaitu baseline-2 (A-2) kembali mengalami peningkatan yaitu 5,82 menit. (2) Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh di lapangan, menunjukan bahwa terapi musik klasik Mozart dapat dipergunakan untuk peningkatan konsentrasi belajar subjek yang merupakan anak dengan gangguan spektrum autis, serta dapat juga digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas perilaku yang menyertainya.----------The inability of the children to concentrate in learning the cause of the child it is difficult to follow the process of teaching and learning in the classroom, the difficulty of understanding the simple command provided teachers, moreover also has the cognitive ability that is less good and yet capable of verbal language in use in communicating. This research aims to know the increase in concentration of learning of children with autism spectrum disorders in the SLB Purnama Asih, West Bandung through Mozart's classical music therapy. Things developed is a classical Mozart music therapy to increase the concentration of learning of children with autism spectrum disorders. This research uses a quantitative approach, with experimental methods and design of single-subject or Single Subject Research (SRR). The results of this research indicate that (1) the Mozart classical music Therapy it gives influence on the increase in the concentration of learning the subject. Overall concentrations of study subjects experience increased after he gave the intervention. The mean level of the subject in the first phase, i.e. the baseline-1 (A-1) was 3.27 seconds, on the intervention phase (B) was 4.82 seconds, and the last phases is the baseline-2 (A-2) again experienced improvement i.e. 5.82 seconds. (2) Based on the data obtained in the field, showed that Mozart classical music therapy can be used to increase the concentration of learning a subject who is a child with autism spectrum disorders, and can also be used to improve the quality of the accompanying behavior.
