Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya fenomena tekanan sosial dan tekanan akademik pada siwa SMK serta bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan belajar berdasarkan profil optimisme akademik siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 12 Bandung yang layak menurut pertimbangan pakar. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana profil optimisme akademik siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 12 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 dan (2) bagaimana program bimbingan belajar berdasarkan profil optimism akademik siswa kelas X SMKN 12 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 yang layak menurut pakar dan praktisi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengungkap profil optimisme akademik siswa dan metode deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran optimisme akademik siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 168 siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 12 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 yang diperoleh berdasarkan perhitungan simple random sampling dari keseluruhan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori optimis dan sebagian lainnya berada pada kategori pesimis. Berdasarkan profil optimism akademik siswa yang diperoleh maka disusun program bimbingan belajar untuk meningkatkan optimisme akademik siswa yang layak menurut pakar dan praktisi untuk dilaksanakan di sekolah. Rekomendasi penelitian ini ditunjukan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling dan penelitian selanjutnya; This research is based on the phenomenon of social pressure and academic pressure on SMK students and aims to produce a learning guidance program based on the academic optimism profile of class X students at SMK Negeri 12 Bandung that are relevant according to expert consideration. The main problems in this study are (1) how the academic optimism profile of class X SMK Negeri 12 Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019 and (2) how is the learning guidance program based on the profile of academic optimism in class X SMKN 12 Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019 which is feasible according to experts and practitioners. The study used a quantitative approach to reveal the students' academic optimism profile and descriptive method to describe students' academic optimism. This research was conducted on 168 students of class X at SMK Negeri 12 Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019 which was obtained based on simple random sampling calculations from all students. The results showed that the majority of students were in the optimistic category and some were in the pesimistic category. Based on the profile of students' academic optimism obtained, a learning guidance program was developed and was relevant according to experts and practitioners to be carried out at school. The recommendations of this study were shown to the teacher of guidance and counseling and further research.
