Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perilaku konsumtif peserta didik yang tidak ramah lingkungan. Salah satu pemecahan masalah untuk membangun perilaku ramah lingkungan adalah melalui pendidikan konsumsi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu dibangun consumer green behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh mutu keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran, pengetahuan, sikap dan intensi terhadap consumer green behavior. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan survey terhadap peserta didik SMP peraih penghargaan Adiwiyata di Kota Bandung dengan ukuran sampel 554. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner yang telah dikonfirmasi dengan metode second order confirmatory. Analisis data dilakukan dengan SEM PLS yang menghasilkan evaluasi model pengukuran dan model struktural serta hasil uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran tentang profil sekolah peraih Adiwiyata, consumer green behavior peserta didik, mutu keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran IPS, pengetahuan, sikap, intensi terhadap consumer green behavior, hubungan antar variabel, serta penerapan dalam desain pembelajaran IPS. Gambaran profil sekolah Adiwiyata meliputi (1) kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan (2) pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan (3) kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif dan (4) pengelolaan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan diantara variabel-variabel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis merancang desain pembelajaran IPS yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik sebagai konsumen yang ramah lingkungan. This research is motivated by environmentally unfriendly consumtive behaviors. One of the solutions to the problem is by developing green behavior through consumption education. Thus, this research ai ms to examine the effects of of quality of involvement in learning, knowledge, attitudes and intentions on the consumer green behavior of junior high school students in Bandung, especially those from Adiwiyata award-winning schools. This research was conducted by distributing a survey to a sample of 554 students of Adiwiyata award-winning junior high schools Bandung City. Data were also collected by interview, observation, and distribution of a questionnaire that had been validated through the second order confirmatory factor analysis. The collected data were then analyzed with the help of a data analysis instrument (PLS SEM) that produces evaluation of measurement models and structural models and through hypothesis testing. The research results generated profiles of the Adiwiyata-award winning schools, consumer green behavior students, and effects of the quality of involvement in social studies learning, knowledge, attitudes, and intentions on consumer green behavior. The profile of Adiwiyata-award winning schools includes: (1) environmentally sound policies; (2) implementation of an environment-based curriculum; (3) Participatory-based environmental activities; and (4) management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities. In addition, the results show that there were significant effects among the research variables. Based on the result of this research, writer designed learning instruction which able to improve students competencies as consumer green behavior.
