Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul Perkembangan Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Indramayu (1991-2017). Masalah pokok yang di bahas dalam skripsi ini adalah Bagaimana Perkembangan Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Indramayu Pada Tahun 1991-2017?Rumusan masalahtersebut diuraikan dalam pertanyaan-pertanyaan penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana latar belakang berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo di Desa Terusan Kabupaten Indramayu? (2) Bagaimana gambaran kehidupan Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Indramayu dalam bidang pendidikan Islam di Desa Terusan Kecamatan Sindang Kabupaten Indramayu dalam kurun waktu 1991-2017? (3) Bagaimana dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pendirian Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Indramayu kepada masyarakat di Desa Terusan Kecamatan Sindang Kabupaten Indramayu? Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode historis, yaitu proses menguji dan menjelaskan serta menganalisa secara kritis rekaman dan peninggalan masa lalu dan menuliskan hasilnya berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang telah diperoleh melalui empat tahapan: heuristik, kritik eksternal dan internal, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo berdiri pada tahun 1992 oleh Drs. K.H Yunus Rasyidi. Yang melatar belakangi pendirian adalah pendiri mempunyai keinginan untuk menyebarkan dakwah Islam didaerah Indramayu.Masa-masa awal pihak pesantren mengalami berbagai penolakan sampai akhirnya diterima dilingkungan masyarakat. Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo membuka dua program yaitu pesantren dan madrasah serta mempunyai tingkatan jenjang pendidikan dari TK sampai Madrasah Aliyah. Untuk Masyarakat kehadiran Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo sebagai pusat pendidikan dan penyiaran agama bagi masyarakat khususnya Desa Terusan umumnya Kabupaten Indramayu. This Research paper entitled of Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school Indramayu (1991-2017). The principal issues are discussed in this thesis is how the development of Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school Indramayu In the year 1991-2017? Formulation of the problem described in the research questions as follows: (1) What is the establishment background Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school in Indramayu Canal Village? (2) Describing the existence of Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school Indramayu in the field of Islamic education in Indramayu Canal Village in the period 1991-2017? (3) What is establishment impact of Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school Indramayu to the society in Indramayu Canal Village? The method used in this study is the historical method, which is a process to test, explain and analyze critically records and relics of the past and writes the results based on the facts that have been obtained through four steps: the heuristic, external criticism and internal, interpretation, and historiography. The data collection technique was done through the study of literature, stud documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the study by authors, Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boaarding school established in 1992 by Drs. KH Yunus Rasyidi. The establishment background is the founder has a desire to spread the Islamic da'wah in Indramayu area. The begining of existance experienced a variety of denial until accepted from society take a longer time. There were two programs in Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school, islamic school and public school which has levels of education from primary school until secondary school. For the society, the existance of Al-Urwatul Wutsqo islamic boarding school as a center of islamic education and missionary endeavor (Da’wah) for the society, especially in Indramayu Canal Village.
