Abstract

Masjid sebagai pusat kegiatan masyarakat memiliki peran strategis sebagai pusat pembinaan umat. Peran masjid yang begitu strategis dan keberadaannya yang berada di tengah-tengah masyarakat dapat menjadi suatu strategi baru dalam membangun kesejahteraan masyarakat di Indonesia yang mayoritas penduduknya beragama Islam, terutama untuk pembangunan wilayah Desa di Indonesia. Presentase jumlah penduduk Desa di Indonesia sebesar 79% dari total keseluruhan jumlah penduduk Indonesia. Namun, dalam laju pembangunan, Desa memiliki tingkat pencapaian yang rendah dibandingkan dengan kota. Hal ini menjadi hal yang harus diperhatikan karena Desa merupakan pondasi utama Indonesia terutama dalam jumlah Sumber Daya Manusia dan kekayaan Sumber Daya Alam. Oleh karena itu, rancangan Masjid Jami’ yang merupakan tipologi masjid Desa memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan Desa.Tema rancangan yaitu Masjid Sebagai Pusat Komunitas yang menjadi acuan dalam merancang Masjid Jami’. Rancangan Masjid jami’ dihasilkan berdasarkan kajian literatur, kajian preseden, analisis demografi dan geografi Desa yang menjadi lokasi Masjid Jami’. The mosque as a center of community activities has a strategic role as a center for community development. The role of a mosque that is so strategic and its existence in the midst of society can be a new strategy in building the welfare of the community in Indonesia where the majority of the population is Muslim, especially for the development of rural areas in Indonesia. The percentage of the population in the rural areas in Indonesia is 79% of the total population. However, in the pace of development, the rural areas have a low level of achievement compared to the urban areas. This is something that must be considered because the rural areas are the main foundation of Indonesia, especially in the amount of Human Resources and Natural Resources wealth. Therefore, the design of the Jami Mosque as a typology of the village mosque has an important role in the village development. The design theme is Mosque as a Community Center which becomes the reference in designing the Jami Mosque. The mosque design was produced based on literature studies, precedent studies, demographic and geographic analysis of the village where the Jami Mosque will be located.
