Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan mengeksplorasi dinamika harapan studi lanjut yang dialami remaja hamil pranikah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Informan dalam penelitian ini ada tiga orang remaja yang mengalami hamil pranikah dengan rentang usia 16-18 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik in-depth interview yang dianalisis dari hasil pencatatan open axial coding. Dari hasil temuan didapatkan bahwa ketiga informan memiliki harapan yang positif untuk masa depannya terkait dengan pendidikannya. MDS memiliki goals untuk melanjutkan sekolah ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi (kuliah) pada jurusan kedokteran, TWDU ingin melanjutkan sekolah SMA dan kuliah di bidang olahraga. Selain itu, Li memiliki goals melanjutkan sekolah SMA dan setelah lulus SMA Li ingin melanjutkan kuliahnya pada bidang kedokteran yaitu menjadi dokter hewan. Hal yang dapat memengaruhi ketiga informan bangkit dari keputusasaan akibat dari kehamilan pranikah ini sampai pada akhirnya mereka mempunyai harapan lagi untuk melanjutkan studi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu adanya dukungan sosial, adanya accepting responsibility, adanya kemampuan untuk melakukan positive reappraisal, serta mempunyai tujuan di masa depan.
This study aims to understand and explore subjective experiences about the dynamics of hope in adolescents who are experience premarital pregnancy. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with phenomenological design. Informants in this study were three teenagers who experienced premarital pregnancy with an age range of 16-18 years. Data collection in this research is done using technique in-depth interview which analyzed from record open axial coding. From the findings, it was found that the three informants had positive expectations for their future related to their education. MDS has a goal to continue their education to a higher level (college) in the medical department, TWDU wants to continue high school and study in sports. In addition, Li has a goal to continue high school and after graduating from high school, Li wants to continue his studies in medicine, which is to become a veterinarian.Things that could influence the three informants rose from despair as a result of this premarital pregnancy until finally they had more hope to continue their studies influenced by several factors, namely the existence of social support, accepting responsibility, the ability to do positive reappraisal, and having goals in the future .
