Abstract

Memasuki abad 21 menjadi tantangan masyarakat untuk mampu bersaing di lingkungan global dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Peran pelajar sebagai agent of change harus mampu mengasah keterampilan-keterampilan abad 21 untuk mengatasi tantangan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi abad 21 melalui pembelajaran field trip pada materi ekosistem tentang interaksi antar komponen biotik. Partisipan sebanyak 31 siswa yaitu pada kelas X MIA di salah satu SMA di kota Bandung. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling karena pemilihan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan adanya pertimbangan siswa yang belum mempelajari materi ekosistem. Keterampilan komunikasi abad 21 dianalisis dengan metode penelitian pre-experiment melalui one group pre-test and post-test design. Pada desain penelitian ini terdapat pre-test tentang ekosistem, selanjutnya dilakukan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran field trip tentang interaksi antar komponen biotik di taman kota Bandung, kemudian siswa diberi post-test tentang ekosistem. Keterampilan komunikasi lisan dan kolaborasi abad 21 diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif melalui observasi. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran field trip pada tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan akhir terlaksana pada kategori cukup. Hasil rata-rata nilai keterampilan komunikasi lisan abad 21 melalui observasi berada pada kategori baik dan hasil rata-rata nilai keterampilan kolaborasi abad 21 melalui observasi berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil N-gain untuk keterampilan komunikasi tulisan abad 21 siswa secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori rendah.Sebagian besar siswa setuju bahwa pembelajaran field trip dapat melatih dan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa. Determination of the subject of the study was carried out by purposive sampling technique because the selection of samples is based on the consideration of students who have not studied ecosystem material. 21st century communication skills were analyzed by the pre-experiment research method through one group pre-test and post-test design. In the design of this study there was a pre-test about ecosystems, then carried out the treatment in the form of field trip learning about the interaction between biotic components in Bandung city parks, then students were given a post-test about the ecosystem. Oral communication skills and 21st century collaboration are obtained by using descriptive research methods through observation. Implementation of field trip learning at the preparation, implementation, and final stages is carried out in sufficient categories. The results of the average value of 21st century oral communication skills through observation are in the good category and the results of the average value of 21st century collaboration skills through observation are in the excellent category.
