    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai
    kondisi sarana dan prasarana yang ada di bengkel otomotif yang kurang
    memadai dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran praktik siswa Teknik
    Kendaraan Ringan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
    fasilitas sarana dan prasarana di bengkel otomotif terhadap Standar BSNP
    serta untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menghambat proses
    standarisasi bengkel otomotif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
    deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tempat Penelitian berlokasi di
    SMK PU Negeri Bandung jalan Garut no. 10. Berdasarkan hasil temuan
    dan pembahasan penelitian fasilitas bengkel otomotif di SMK PU Negeri
    Bandung, menunjukkan bahwa kondisi Sarana dan Prasarana masuk
    dalam kategori kurang layak, dimana pada aspek prasarana tidak
    memenuhi standar luas ruangan sebagaimana yang disyaratkan oleh
    BSNP. Aspek Sarana terdiri dari Area kerja Engine otomotif dalam
    kategori layak, area kerja kelistrikan otomotif dalam kategori layak, area
    chasis dan pemindah tenaga alam kategori kurang layak. Area
    penyimpanan dan instruktur dalam kategori kurang layak. Ketersediaan
    General tools dalam kategori layak dan lengkap. Ketersediaan alat ukur
    dalam kategori layak dan ketersediaan Special Service Tools (SST) dalam
    kategori kurang layak. Salah satu faktor penghambat proses standarisasi
    bengkel otomotif adalah keterbatasan dana dan lahan untuk pembangunan
    sehingga perlu ditingkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas sarana dan prasarana
    dan tercapainya siswa- siswi SMK yang berkompeten. Berdasarkan
    Permendiknas No. 40 Tahun 2008 maka sarana dan prasarana di bengkel
    otomotif SMK PU Negeri Bandung kurang layak digunakan untuk
    praktikum pembelajaran.
    This research is based on background problems regarding the condition of facilities and infrastructure in automotive workshops inadequate in supporting the practical learning process of Light Vehicle Engineering students. The purpose of this study is to find out facilities and infrastructure in automotive workshops towards BSNP Standards and to find out the factors that hinder the process of standardizing automotive workshops. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The Research Place is located in SMK PU Negeri Bandung, Garut street no. 10. Based on the findings and discussion of research on automotive workshop facilities in SMK PU Negeri Bandung, indicates that the condition of Facilities and Infrastructure falls into the category of inadequate, where the aspect of infrastructure does not meet the standard of the room area as required by the BSNP. The Means aspect consists of the automotive Engine work area in a decent category, the automotive electricity work area is in a decent category, chassis area and natural power transfer category are not feasible. The storage area and instructors are in a less decent category. Availability of General tools in a decent and complete category. Availability of measuring instruments in feasible categories and availability of Special Service Tools (SST) in the less feasible category. One of the inhibiting factors in the standardization process of automotive workshops is the limited funds and land for development so that the quality and quantity of facilities and infrastructure need to be improved and the achievement of competent vocational students is needed. Based on Minister of Education Regulation No. 40 of 2008, then the facilities and infrastructure in the automotive workshop of the SMK PU Negeri Bandung less feasible to use for learning practice.
