Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan deskripsi dan analisis yang mendalam tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan vokasional di keluarga dan juga mekanisme kegiatan vokasional di rumah yang meliputi peran siswa, guru dan orang tua. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan siswa, guru dan orang tua siswa SD Kahuripan Padjadjaran. Peneliti melakukan wawancara terhadap siswa, guru dan juga orang tua siswa, peneliti juga melakukan observasi lapangan kerumah subjek. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan vokasional adanya karakter kemandirian dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan vokasional. Hal tersebut tercermin dalam berbagai kegiatan vokasi yang dilaksanakan di rumah, seperti membantu orang tuanya menyapu rumah, mengepel lantai dan juga memasak. Karakter kemandirian yang muncul menunjukkan bahwa siswa bertanggung jawab atas apa yang dilakukannya, memiliki hasrat untuk maju dalam kebaikan diri, mampu mengambil keputusan, dan inisiatif untuk mengatasi masalah, dan juga memiliki kepercayaan diri dalam tugas-tugasnya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan vokasional melibatkan peran siswa, guru dan juga orang tua. Ditemukan bahwa peran siswa adalah menjadi subjek yang melaksanakan langsung kegiatan vokasional dan juga memberikan laporan tentang penelitian pendidikan vokasional. Peran guru adalah memberikan pengawasan atau monitoring langsung pelaksanaan kegiatan vokasional di lapangan. Dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan vokasional orang tua menjadi pengawas sekaligus memberikan arahan dan dorongan kepada siswa untuk mau melaksanakan pendidikan vokasional sesuai dengan instruksi yang diberikan dari sekolah kepada setiap siswa di SD Kahuripan Padjadjaran Kabupaten Purwakarta. This study aims to get a description and in-depth analysis of the implementation of vocational education in the family and also the mechanism of vocational activities at home which includes the role of students, teachers and parents. The research design used was qualitative with a case study method. The subject of this study involved students, teachers and parents of SD Kahuripan Padjadjaran elementary students. Researchers interviewed students, teachers and parents of students, researchers also conducted field observations on the subject. The research findings show that in the implementation of vocational activities there is a character of independence in the implementation of vocational education. This is reflected in various vocational activities carried out at home, such as helping his parents sweep the house, mopping the floor and cooking. The independence character that emerges shows that students are responsible for what they do, have a desire to advance in their own goodness, be able to make decisions, and initiative to overcome problems, and also have confidence in their duties. The implementation of vocational activities involves the role of students, teachers and parents. It was found that the role of students was a subject who carried out vocational activities directly and also provided reports on vocational education research. The teacher's role is to provide direct supervision or monitoring of the implementation of vocational activities in the field. In the implementation of vocational education parents become supervisors while providing direction and encouragement to students to want to implement vocational education in accordance with the instructions given from the school to each student at SD Kahuripan Padjadjaran, Purwakarta Regency.
