Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya media pembelajaran berbasis android pada sub materi elektrolisis. Media pembelajaran berbasis android merupakan salah satu pengembangan mobile learning yang sangat relevan saat ini untuk digunakan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian dengan judul “Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Sub Materi Elektrolisis berbasis Android” ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi android yang layak dan berkualitas baik dari segi materi maupun dari segi media. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Developmental Research dengan tahap pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Kelayakan materi dan media diperoleh dari enam orang dosen ahli menggunakan instrumen lembar review materi dan lembar review media. Sedangkan, kelayakan media diperoleh dari hasil uji coba terbatas tiga orang guru menggunakan instrumen angket tanggapan guru. Kualitas media pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil uji coba terbatas lima orang siswa menggunakan instrumen angket tanggapan siswa. Produk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan disajikan dalam bentuk softfile yang di jalankan pada smartphone berbasis android. Karakeristik media pembelajaran yaitu terdapat konsep-konsep esensial yang disajikan dalam bentuk teks, gambar dan video. Teks digunakan untuk menjelaskan pada level submikroskopik dan level simbolik; gambar digunakan untuk menjelaskan pada level submikroskopik; serta video digunakan untuk menjelaskan pada level makroskopik, level submikroskopik dan level simbolik. Berdasarkan hasil review dosen ahli serta hasil uji coba media pembelajaran dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan oleh siswa dan dinyatakan berkualitas baik. This research was required to be done due to the lacks of availability of android-based courseware on electrolysis. Android-based courseware is one of the development of relevant mobile learning currently used by students in learning. The goal of this research with topic “Development of Courseware on Electrolysis Android-Based”is to develop and produce a media learning in the form of android-based application with feasible and good quality in content and media. The method of Developmental Research was used for this research with ADDIE model was use in the development phase. The feasibility of content and media was revealed from the review result conducted by six expert lecturers using intruments in the form content review sheet and media review sheet. Whereas, the feasibility of media learning was revealed from the limited trial stage by three teachers using instrument rating sheet questionnaire. The quality of media learning was revealed from the limited trial stage by five student using instrument rating sheet questionnaire. This courseware presented in the form of softfile that running in smartphone device with Android as an operational system. The characteristics of the courseware are essensial concept presented by texts, images and videos. Texts visualize the submicroscopic and symbolic level; Images to visualize the submicroscopic level; and videos visualize the macroscopic, submicroscopic & symbolic level. The result of review by expert lecturers and limited trial stage showing that this courseware is feasible and have been able to be used for students, and this courseware have a good quality.
