Abstract
Penelitian ini berlatar belakang dari permasalahan yang ada pada laboratorium di lingkup pendidikan teknik. Permasalahan yang paling umum disekitar lingkungan peneliti adalah kelas yang padat dalam waktu yang terbatas untuk pemakaian suatu laboratorium menjadikan pemahaman ataupun keterampilan pengguna terhadap suatu praktik tidak tercapai. Dengan berkembangnya suatu sistem teknologi dan informasi maka masalah diatas dapat diatasi, yaitu dengan adanya teknologi remote laboratory. Teknologi tersebut telah diuji oleh beberapa penelitian, yang hasilnya menunjukan dapat meminimalisir masalah-masalah yang terjadi dalam suatu laboraotorium praktik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana teknologi tersebut diterima oleh pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk kuesioner yang mengacu pada technology acceptance model untuk mengukur tingkat penerimaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa teknologi remote laboratory diterima positif berdasarkan kegunaan, kemudahan, keinginan pengguna menggunakan kembali, tanggapan pengguna terhadap kemampuan menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Kemudahan penggunaan teknologi sangat mempengaruhi manfaat dari teknologi tersebut. This research is based on the problems that exist in the laboratory in the field of technical education. The most common problem around the research environment is that a solid class in a limited time for the use of a laboratory makes the user's understanding or skill towards a practice not achieved. With the development of a technology and information system, the above problems can be overcome, namely the existence of remote laboratory technology. The technology has been tested by several studies, the results of which can minimize the problems that occur in a laboratory. The purpose of this study was to find out how the technology was received by users. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The instrument used in this study is in the form of a questionnaire that refers to the technology acceptance model to measure the level of acceptance. The results showed that remote laboratory technology was accepted positively based on usability, ease, desire of users to reuse, user response to the ability to use the technology. The ease of use of technology greatly affects the benefits of the technology.
