Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Model Self Concept Dalam Pembelajaran Pencak Silat Untuk Penguatan Konsep Diri Siswa SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung”. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu mengukur seberapa jauh pemahaman siswa SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung mengenai konsep diri dengan pembelajaran pencak silat yang nantinya diterapkan dengan menggunakan model self concept. Ada pun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan model self concept dalam pembelajaran pencak silat untuk penguatan konsep diri siswa SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung dan melihat hasil dari proses penerapan tersebut. Penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat bagi semua pihak yang membutuhkan terutama guru-guru seni tari, baik guru SD, SMP, SMA, bagi peneliti dan bagi sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Temuan penelitian dengan memanfaatkan sumber ajar dari konsep pembelajaran yang kemudian dikembangkan dengan model self concept yang merupakan model yang sangat cocok untuk pembelajaran pencak silat dengan menggali nilai-nilai pencak silat guna menguatkan konsep diri siswa SMP Pasundan 6 Bandung. Hal ini yang menjadi bukti bahwa adanya peningkatan dalam pemahaman konsep diri setelah mempelajari pencak silat yaitu minat, semangat dan motivasi siswa untuk terus belajar meningkat baik. This research is entitled "Application Model of Self-Concept Learning Pencak Silat for Strengthening Up Self Concept for Student Junior High School of Pasundan 6 Bandung". The problem in this study, which is measuring how far students Junior Hight School of Pasundan 6 Bandung understand about self-concept with pencak silat learning that will be applied using the self concept model. There is also the aim of this study to describe the process of applying the self concept model in pencak silat learning to strengthen up the self-concept of students Junior Hight School of Pasundan 6 Bandung and see the results after process. This research is expected to be useful for all those who need, especially dance teachers, both elementary, junior, senior high school teachers, for researchers and for schools. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Research findings by utilizing teaching resources from learn-concept were later developed with a self concept model which is a model that is very suitable for learning pencak silat by exploring the values of pencak silat in order to strengthen the self-concept of students Junior Hight School of Pasundan 6 Bandung. This is evidence that there is an increase in self-concept understanding after learning pencak silat, namely the interest, enthusiasm and motivation of students to continue learning to improve both.
