Abstract
Kelurahan Cigugur Merupakan salah satu wilayah yang paling majemuk di Kabupaten Kuningan. Integrasi masyarakat Cigugur terpelihara dengan baik di dalam pluralitas keberagamaanya. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, penulis memiliki hipotesis bahwa integrasi sosial tersebut memiliki keterkaitan dengan berkembangnya modal sosial pada masyarakat Cigugur. Karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dampak modal sosial terhadap integrasi masyarakat Kelurahan Cigugur di Kabupaten Kuningan. Pendekatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada masyarakat Cigugur memiliki jaringan sosial, norma sosial dan trust sebagai modal sosial yang baik pada kehidupan masyarakat setempat. Modal sosial tersebut diekspresikan dalam ikatan sosial yang terjalin, seperti saling menolong, bekerjasama, takziyah kepada saudara berbeda agama, dan disatukannya area pemakaman meskipun berbeda agama. Faktor adat sunda dan tokoh masyarakat turut mempengaruhi modal sosial yang telah terbentuk. Begitu juga dengan integrasi sosial terwujud dengan baik, ditandai adanya keterikatan dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan kemasyarakatan, seperti gotong-royong dalam membangun dan membersihkan lingkungan. Selain itu, masyarakat dapat berkomunikasi dan peduli terhadap lingkungannya, sehingga tercipta kerukunan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel jaringan sosial, norma sosial, dan trust berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap integrasi masyarakat Cigugur. SOCIAL CAPITAL IMPACT ON CIGUGUR COMMUNITY INTEGRATION (Descriptive Study on the Plurality of Religion in Cigugur Village, Kuningan District) Ade Galih Nugraha NIM 1706743 ABSTRACT Cigugur Village is one of the most complex areas in Kuningan Regency. The integration of the Cigugur community is well maintained within its religious plurality. Based on this phenomenon, the authors hypothesize that social integration is related to the development of social capital in the Cigugur community. Therefore this study aims to reveal the impact of social capital on community integration in Cigugur Village in Kuningan District. This approach uses a quantitative approach and descriptive method. The data collection techniques are questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is path analysis. The results showed that the Cigugur community has a social network, social norms and trust as a good social capital in the life of the local community. The social capital is expressed in the social ties that are intertwined, such as helping one another, working together, takziyah to brothers of different religions, and the unification of the burial area even though different religions. Sundanese traditional factors and community leaders also influence the social capital that has been formed. Likewise with social integration well realized, marked the presence of engagement and participation in community activities, such as mutual cooperation in building and cleaning the environment. In addition, people can communicate and care about their environment, so that harmony can be created. The results of data analysis show that simultaneously social network variables, social norms, and trust significantly influence the integration of the Cigugur community.
