Abstract

Sesuai dengan tujuan proses pendidikan bagi anak tunagrahita hakikatnya mengacu pada tujuan pendidikan nasional yaitu mengembangkan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya melalui wujud pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilaksanakan di SLB BC Bina Mandiri ditemukan bahwa anak tunagrahita setelah lulus sekolah masih ada pengangguran bahkan ada yang mengikuti lagi sekolah. Sekolah telah menerapkan beberapa pembelajaran keterampilan (Vokasional) guna untuk bekal kemandirian anak tunagrahita setelah menyelesaikan persekolahan, namun belum mencoba mengimplementasikan dengan cara kerja sama melalui home industry ataupun tempat penyaluran kerja yang berada dilingkungan sekitar sekolah. Pembelajaran keterampilan yang dilaksanakan disekolah hanya sebatas pembelajaran dijenjang kelas dan belum ada tindak lanjut sebagai acuan keberhasilan dilapangan kerja. Salah satu cara untuk memberikan bekal pengalaman kerja dengan melalui sistem magang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang implementasi pembelajaran keterampilan batik ikat celup melalui sistem magang di home industry bagi anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB BC Bina Mandiri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 3 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran keterampilan batik ikat celup melalui sistem magang di home industry bagi anak tunagrahita ringan dari ketiga subyek satu subyek telah berhasil memenuhi nilai standar home industry dan kedua subyek masih ada beberapa aspek yang belum memenuhi nilai standar home industry. In accordance with the purpose of educational process for mental retardation children which is essentially refers to the goals of national education to develop a whole human of Indonesia through the form of knowledge and skills. Based on the preliminary study conducted at SLB BC Bina Mandiri found that after graduating from school there are still some children of mental retardation that unemployment and some even joined school again. The school has applied learning skills (Vocational) in order to provide independence for mental retardation children after completing the school. However, it has not tried to implement by cooperation through home industry or work place distribution which is around school environment. Learning skills that implemented in school is only class-level learning and it has been no follow-up as a reference success in the field work. One of the ways to provide work experience was by an internship system. The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of the implementation of Batik Ikat Celup learning skills through apprenticeship system in the home industry for children with mild mental retardation in SLB BC Bina Mandiri. This research method is using qualitative approach with descriptive method and the research subject is about 3 people. Data collection techniques conducted through observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this research can be concluded that Batik Ikat Celup learning skill through apprenticeship system in home industry for children with mental retardation one from the three subjects has successfully fulfilled the standard of home industry, meanwhile, both subjects there are still some aspects that have not fulfilled the standard value of home industry.
