Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap siswa terhadap pelaksanaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) pada praktik Instalasi Jaringan Fiber to the Home (FTTH) sesuai standar SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Teknik Jaringan Akses SMK UT PGII Bandung tahun Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi uji pemahaman, wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja pada berdasarkan dengan standar SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01 belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik dan belum sesuai dengan standar SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01, (2) Secara umum siswa telah memahami aspek K3, namun pemahaman siswa masih rendah untuk aspek: K3 umum, Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), dan K3 terhadap lingkungan, (3) Sikap positif ditunjukkan siswa pada proses penyambungan kabel fiber optik dan pengukuran jaringan. Sementara itu, kesadaran akan keselamatan kerja masih rendah, terutama dalam hal kebersihan area kerja dan kesehatan pribadi, seperti tidak menjaga kebersihan area kerja dan tidak menggunakan sarung tangan selama praktik.------. The aim of this study is to determine the knowledge and attitudes of students about the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) base on SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01 on the practice of Installing Fiber to the Home Network accordance with the SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01 standard. The method uses is descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include comprehension test, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study are the students of class XI Network Access Engineering Department at SMK UT PGII Bandung in Lessons Year 2017/2018. The data validity technique uses extension of observation, persistence improvement, and triangulation. The results of this research: (1) OSH accordance with SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01 standard in the practice of FTTH Installation Network has been implemented, although in the implementation of OSH has not in accordance with SKKNI TIK.FO01.005.01 standard. (2) I n general, students have understood about OSH, In several performance criteria such as general of OSH, personal protective equipment (PPE), and OSH to the environment, the understanding still needs to be improved (3) In the fiber optic connectivity process and FTTH network measurement, the attitude of students have been positive. However, the awareness of occupational safety is low, especially in the cleanliness of the work area and personal health, such as not wearing a gloves during practice and not care about workplace hygiene.
