Abstract

Peran media video tutorial dalam konteksnya sebagai media pembelajaran mampu menghasilkan suatu perbedaan dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Peneltian ini memiliki tujuan secara umum yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video tutorial terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi Teknik Editing Video di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. Secara umum rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu “apakah penggunaan media video tutorial dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa secara efektif jika dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada materi Teknik Editing Video ?”. sementara untuk rumusan masalah secara khusus dalam penelitian ini yaitu “Apakah terdapat perbedaan keefektifan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa aspek berpikir lancar (fluency), aspek berpikir keluwesan (flexibility), aspek berpikir keterperincian (elaboration), serta aspek berpikir keaslian (originality) antara siswa yang menggunakan media video tutorial dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada materi Teknik Editing Video di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung ?”. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode peneletian studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Adapun teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian secara umum yang menunjukkan bahwa ditemukannya perbedaan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif antara siswa yang menggunakan media video tutorial dan dengan siswa yang menggunakan media demonstrasi dalam materi Teknik Editing Video. Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media video tutorial mendapatkan perolehan gain rata-rata post-test sebesar 35,83 dan perolehan gain rata-rata post-test pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran Teknik Editing Video sebesar 25,37. ;--- The role of tutorial video as a learning media of this study produces a difference in students' creative thinking skills. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the tutorial video media on students' creative thinking skills in Video Editing at SMK Negeri 2 Bandung. In general, the research problem in this study is "can tutorial video as the learning media improve the students' creative thinking skills effectively when being compared to students who are exposed with the demonstration method instead?". Meanwhile, for the formulation of the problem specifically in this study reflects "is there any difference in the effectiveness of creative thinking skills in terms of fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality between the students who use tutorial video as the learning media and the students who are exposed with the demonstration method at SMK Negeri 2 Bandung in Video Editing? ". The writer of this study uses a quasi-experimental study method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design as the research design. The technique of sampling being used in this study is the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The result of the study shows a difference in students' creative thinking skills between students who use tutorial video as the learning media, and the students who are exposed with demonstration method in Video Editing. It is proven to be effective by the results of the creative thinking skills test in the experimental class. The students who use tutorial video as the learning media have a gain post-test average score of 35.83. On the other hand, the other students which are exposed with the demonstration method have a gain post-test average score of 25.37.
