MasalahUtama yang di bahasdalamskripsiiniadalahBagaimanaPerkembanganPendidikanPesantren Al-FalahBiru di DesaMekargalihKecamtanTarogongKidulKabupatenGarutketikaTahun 1981-2015? Masalahutamainidibagikedalamlimapertanyaanpenelitian, meliputi (1) BagaimanaLatarbelakangberdirinyapondokPesantren Al-FalahBiru di DesaMekargalihKecamatanTarogonhKidulKabupatenGarut? (2) Bagaimanadinamikakelembagaan yang terjadi di Pesantren Al-FalahBirutahun 1981-2015? (3) Bagaimanakahsistempendidikan di Pesantren Al-FalahBirupadatahun 1981-2015 (4) BagaimankahpengaruhTarekatTijaniahterhadapperkembanganPesantren Al-FalahBirupadatahun 1981-2015? (5) BagaimanakahpengaruhPesantren Al-FalahBiruterhadapkehidupanmasyarakatsekitartahun 1981-2015? Metode yang digunakandalammetodehistorisyaituanalisiskritisdari data-data masalampaumelauiempattahapan, heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, danhistoriografi. Sedangkanteknikpengumpulan data dilakukanmelaluistudidokumentasi, studikepustakaan, danwawancara. BerdasarkanhasilpenelitianpenelitiPesantren Al-FalahBiruberdiripadatahun 1930 oleh K.H Asnawi Muhammad Faqieh. Padaawalnya di Pesantrenkegiatanbelajar Al-Qur’an danberkembangmenjadiPesantren semi modern. Untukmenyikapiperkembanganpesantrenmelakukanbeberapapenyesuaiandengantuntutandanperkembanganmasyarakat. Penyesuaian yang dilakukanmeliputibeberapaaspek di pesantrenbaikdarisegikelembagaanPesantrendan proses belajarmengajarmengacukepadakurikulum di dalamnya. Pesantren Al-FalahBirumembukadua program yaitupesantrendan madrasah. TarekatTijaniahdipelajariolehsemuasantri di pesantrenkarenasebagainafasdari para pejuanghizbullah yang sebagianmerupakansantridaripesantrenpadamasarevolusifisik. UntuksekarangmasuksebagaipengikutTarekatTijaniahharusmendapatbaiatdariMukaddamTarekatTijaniahkarenasudahtidaksembarang orang untukmenjadipengikuttarekattersebut. UntukMayarakatkehadiranPesantren Al-FalahBirusebagaipusatpendidikandanpenyiaran agama bagiMasyarakatDesaMekargalihdanmasyarakatGarut;---This Research paper entitled “The Development of Pesantren al-FalahBiru in Mekargalih Village, TarogongKidul District, Garut Regency, 1980-2015”. The main problem discussed in this Research is how the development of Al-FalahBiruPesantren in Mekargalih village, TarogongKidul district, Garut regency, in 1981-2015? This main problem is divided into five research questions, including (1) What was the background of the establishment of Pesantren Al-FalahBiru in Mekargalih Village, TarogongKidul District, Garut Regency? (2) How was the institutional dynamics that occurred in Al-FalahBiruPesantren in 1981-2015? (3) How was the education system at Al-FalahBiru in 1981-2015 (4) How did the TarekatTijaniah influence the development of Al-FalahBiru in 1981-2015? (5) How was the influence of Al-FalahBiru on community life around 1981-2015? The method used in the historical method is critical analysis of past data through four stages, heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. While data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies, library studies, and interviews. Based on the results of the study researchers Al-FalahBiru was established in 1930 by K.H Asnawi Muhammad Faqieh. At first Pesantren Al-FalahBiru studied the Qur'an and developed into a semi-modern Pesantren. To respond the development, Al-FalahBiru made some adjustments to address the demands and development of society. Adjustments carried out cover several aspects of the Islamic Boarding School both in terms of its institution and the teaching and learning process refers to the curriculum in it. Al-FalahBiruPesantren opened two programs, namely pesantren and madrasah. TarekatTijaniah studied by all students at the school for a breath of Hizbullah fighters were in part of the boarding school students on the physical revolution. For now entered as a follower of the TarekatrTijaniah must obtain the allegiance of the TarekatTijaniahMukaddam because it was not just anyone to become followers of the Order.For the society, the presence of Pesantren Al-FalahBiru as a center for education and spread of religion for the people of Mekargalih Village and Society of Garut City.
