Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dan pengalaman yang dirasakan pada saat melakukan Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di SMK Prakarya Internasional Bandung. Beberapa fenomena yang peneliti temui antara lain, masih ada siswa yang terlihat tidak fokus saat proses pembelajaran, ada siswa yang tidak memperhatikan guru, ada siswa yang bercanda, masih ada siswa yang asyik mengobrol, ada beberapa siswa yang mengantuk dan masih ada siswa yang memainkan telepon genggamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kesiapan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknik Dasar Otomotif dari segi kesiapan fisik siswa, kesiapan psikis siswa dan kesiapan materil siswa. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang peneliti pilih yaitu Sampling Jenuh karena dalam penelitian ini populasinya dijadikan sampel. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X program keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan yang berjumlah 69 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan, kesiapan belajar siswa pada segi fisik mendapatkan persentase sebesar 83.55%, kesiapan belajar siswa pada segi psikis mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84.70% dan kesiapan siswa pada segi materil mendapatkan persentase sebesar 83.58%, meskipun seluruh kondisi kesiapan belajar siswa mendapatkan persentase yang baik tetapi masih ada siswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah kriteria kelulusan minimal hal ini membuktikan bahwa kesiapan siswa tidak selalu berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dikarenakan beberapa faktor diantaranya: kesiapan masing-masing individu yang berbeda, kurangnya bahan ajar yang dimiliki dan faktor kesehatan pun mempengaruhi siswa dalam kesiapan belajarnya. Berdasarkan hasil temuan yang didapat penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesiapan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknik Dasar Otomotif dari segi kesiapan fisik siswa dikategorikan sangat siap, dari segi kesiapan psikis siswa dikategorikan sangat siap, dan dari segi materil siswa dikategorkan sangat siap.-----This research is motivated by observation which has been done by researchers and perceived experience while doing the Field Experience Program in Prakarya Internasional Vocational High School. Some phenomena that researchers encountered among others, there are still students who look unfocused during the learning process, there are students who do not pay attention to the teacher, there are students who are joking, there are still students who are busy chatting, there are some sleepy students, and there are still students who play their cell phones. The purpose of this study is to find out how much readiness of students in the subjects of Basic Automotive Engineering in terms of students' physical readiness, students 'psychic readiness and students' material readiness. This research uses descriptive research method with quantitative approach. The sample of this research is the students of class X of Light Vehicle Engineering expertise program, amounting to 69 students. Based on the findings and discussion, the students' learning readiness on the physical side get the percentage of 83.55%, students' learning readiness on the psychic side get the percentage of 84.70% and students' readiness in terms of material gets a percentage of 83.58%, although the whole condition of student learning readiness get a good percentage but there are still students who score below the minimum exhaustiveness criteria this proves that the readiness of students does not always affect the results of learning due to several factors including: the readiness of each individual is different, the lack of teaching materials owned and health factors also affect students in readiness to learn. Based on the findings obtained this study can be concluded that the readiness of students in the subjects of Basic Automotive Engineering in terms of students 'physical readiness categorized very ready, in terms of students' psychological readiness categorized very ready, and in terms of material students are considered very prepared
