Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya penggunaan deiksis pada sebuah wacana. Deiksis harus bisa memberikan gambaran tentang acuan yang jelas, agar unsur bahasanya mudah dipahami. Deiksis sebagai salah satu kajian komponen pragmatik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, (1) bentuk deiksis lokatif, (2) jenis deiksis lokatif, (3) posisi anteseden yang diacu oleh deiksis lokatif, serta (4) hubungan deiksis lokatif dan anteseden. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi pustaka. Data yang dianalisis berupa kalimat-kalimat yang ada dalam novel Nu Kaul Lagu Kaléon karya RAF. Hasil dalam penelitian ini terdapat 12 data deiksis lokatif yang pemakaiannya berjumlah 44 kalimat. Berdasarkan bentuknya, deiksis lokatif ditemukan sebanyak 25 bentuk frasa dan 19 bentuk kata. Berdasarkan jenisnya, deiksis lokatif ditemukan sebanyak 28 deiksis lokatif endoforis dan 16 deiksis lokatif eksoforis. Berdasarkan posisi antesedennya, terdapat 20 deiksis lokatif kataforis dan 24 deiksis lokatif anaforis. Terakhir, berdasarkan hubungan deiksis lokatif dan anteseden ditemukan sebanyak 31 kalimat yang memiliki hubungan intra paragraf dan 14 kalimat yang memiliki hubungan ekstra paragraf. Kata kunci: déiksis, déiksis lokatif, anteseden, pragmatik. This study is motivated by the amount of deixis used in a discourse. Deixis must be able to provide description of a clear reference, so that the element of language is understandable. Deixis is one of the pragmatic component studies. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the form of locative deixis; (2) the types of locative deixis; (3) the position of antecedent referred by locative deixis; and (4) the relations between locative deixis and antecedent. This study uses a qualitative approach with the descriptive method. The technique used in this study is the literature study technique. The data that were analyzed are sentences from the novel Nu Kaul Lagu Kaléon by RAF. Result of this study shows that there are 12 locative deixis data which are used in 44 sentences. Based on the form, 25 phrases and 19 words were found in the locative deixis. Based on the types, 28 endophoric locative deixis and 16 exophoric locative deixis were found in the locative deixis. Based on the position of antecedent, 20 cataphoric locative deixis and 24 anaphoric locative deixis were found. Lastly, based on the relations between locative deixis and antecedent, 31 sentences that has intra-paragrafh relations and 14 sentences that has extra-paragrafh relations were found.
