Abstract
Dalam proses perkembangannya individu kerap mengalami suatu hambatan. Hambatan tersebut dapat berupa keterbatasan fisik seperti kehilangan salah satu anggota tubuh. Keadaan seperti itu, mengakibatkan individu mengalami kesulitan, ketidakmampuan, dan krisis penerimaan diri yang dapat berpengaruh pada pencapaian prestasinya. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan diri remaja tunadaksa baik faktor dari dalam dirinya maupun dari lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan penelitian mengeksplorasi faktor intrinsik dan faktor ekstrinsik pendukung penerimaan diri remaja tunadaksa mencapai prestasi non akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Partisipan dipilih menggunaka teknik purposive sampling sebanyak dua orang. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerimaan diri dapat diperoleh melalui faktor instrinsik yang meliputi menjalani hidup dengan rasa syukur, self reliance dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, dan mengasah potensi diri, serta faktor ekstrinsik yang meliputi unconditional positive regard bagi remaja disbailitas, keberadaan figure inspiratif menumbuhkan semangat berprestasi, dan fasilitas belajar sesuai kondisi fisik. In the process of development, individuals commonly experience an obstacle. It can be physical limitations such the loss of a limb. This condition drives indviduals to experience difficulties, inability, and self acceptance crisis affecting to achieve of their achievements. Several factors affect to the self acceptance of physical disability adolescents both within themselves and the surrounding environment. This study explored intrinsic and extrinsic supporting factors of self acceptance of physical disability adolescents with non academic achievements The study method used was case study. The partcipants were selected by using purposive sampling technique as many as two persons. This study found that self-acceptance can be obtained through intrinsic factors including living life with gratitude, self reliance in daily activities, and shaping self potential, as well as extrinsic factors including unconditional positive regard for disability adolescents, the presence of inspirational figures fostering a spirit of achievements, and learning facilities according to physical conditions.
