Abstract

Kompetensi guru yang kurangdalammelaksanakanpembelajaranberdampakpadarendahnyahasilbelajarsiswa/idalampembelajaranIlmuPengetahuanSosial (IPS). Penelitianinidilakukanuntukmengetahuihubunganantarakompetensi guru denganhasilbelajarsiswa/ipadamatapelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Bandung yang berkisar 303 siswa. Pendekatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling maka diperoleh datasample sebanyak 76 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket tertutup dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil dari teknik analisis data Korelasi Product Moment dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Versi23 diperoleh r hitung sebesar 0,382. Taraf kesalahan yang ditetapkansebesar 5% dengan N sama dengan 76, maka r hitung lebih besardari r tabelpadaangka 0,382 lebih besar dari 0,220 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil yang didapatdaripenelitianinimenunjukkanhubungan positif antara kompetensi guru dengan hasil belajar siswapadamatapelajaraIPS;---Teacher competence is lacking in implementing the learning adversely affects the student learning outcomes in the learning of Social Sciences (IPS). This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the competence of teachers to student learning outcomes in social studies. The method used is a correlation study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII State Junior High School 4 Bandung ranging from 303 students. Approach is taken by using simple random sampling technique, the obtained sample data as many as 76 students. The instruments used in the form of closed questionnaire using Likert scale. The results of data analysis techniques Product Moment Correlation with the help of IBM SPSS version 23 application obtained r count equal to 0.382. The error level is set at 5% by N equals 76, then r is bigger than r table in figure greater than 0.220 0.382 so that Ho refused and Ha accepted. The results of this study show a positive relationship between the competence of teachers to student learning outcomes on the subject is social studies.
