Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SLB Pancaran Iman, Bandung. Penulis menemukan kasus seorang anak tunarungu kelas I SDLB yang mengalami hambatan dalam bicaranya. Secara reseptif anak tidak mengalami hambatan, namun dalam bahasa ekspresif ia mengalami hambatan, yakni sulit mengungkapkan apa yang diinginkan sehingga menyebabkan kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang lain. Anak kesulitan dalam berbicara karena kesulitan dalam meniru bunyi-bunyi yang didengarnya. Hal tersebut dapat ditangani dengan bina wicara melalui pembentukan kosakata benda. Penulis mengangkat penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil dari penerapan bina wicara terhadap pembentukan kosakata benda pada anak tunarungu. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen Single Subjek Research (SSR) dalam desain A-B-A. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan penerapan bina wicara terhadap pembentukan kosakata benda di SLB Pancaran Iman. Penerapan bina wicara sangat penting bagi anak tunarungu, agar anak-anak tunarungu mampu memfungsikan organ bicaranya dengan baik serta agar anak tunarungu mampu berkomunikasi dengan orang lain baik penerapan bina wicara itu dilakukan di dalam kelas maupun memberikan kelas tambahan di luar jam pelajaran. ;----This study is based on preliminary studies conducted at SLB (Extraordinary School) Pancaran Iman, Bandung. The writer found a case of a deaf child in 1st grade SDLB who experienced obstacles in his speech. Presetively the child does not have any obstacles, but expressively he has, which is difficult to express what is desired so that he finds any difficulties in communication with others. He has difficulties in speaking because of difficulties in imitating the sounds he hears. This can be handled by speech building through the formation of noun vocabulary. This study aims to know the increase of the speech building implementation on the formation of noun vocabulary in deaf children. The approach used is a quantitative approach with the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method in the A-B-A design. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the application of speech to the formation of the vocabulary of objects in the Radiant of Faith SLB. The application of speech development is very important for deaf children, so that deaf children are able to function their speech organs well and that deaf children are able to communicate with others. Both the implementation of speech building is done in the classroom and provides additional classes outside of class hours.
