Abstract

Sustainable living yang ditawarkan dalam sasi sangat relevan dengan tantangan global abad 21 mengenai wacana kearifan lokal dalam pengelolaan Sumber daya alam yang akan habis/lenyap jika dilakukan secara tidak lestari dan berkelanjutan. Hal yang perlu dipahami bagaimana sasi dalam kehidupan masyarakat adat Saparua ? bagaimana sasi dapat menunjang sustainable living masyarakat adat Saparua? mengapa sasi mulai melemah dan menghilang di Saparua ? Mengapa sasi tetap survive pada beberapa negeri yang ada di Saparua? Serta bagaimana upaya preservasi budaya sasi dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya dalam pembelajaran IPS di Universitas Pattimura? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi etnografi. Melalui Observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria dan profesi, pengalaman, kemampuan dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki mengenai sasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengembangan desain instruktusional model ADDIE dengan menghasilkan produk model preservasi kearifan lokal sasi berbasis educuation for sustaianable development melalui pembelajaran IPS di Program Studi pendidikan Sejarah dan Geografi di Universitas Pattimura. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sasi mulai melemah dan menghilang lebih dari 75 % di Saparua walau ada upaya untuk melakukan revitalisasi pada beberapa negeri karena sasi dapat menunjang sustainable living masyarakat Saparua yang tergambar dalam lima pilar sustanability yaitu ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan, budaya dan politik. Beberapa hal yang diasumsikan menjadi penyebab sasi yang mulai melemah dan menghilang di pulau Saparua antara lain faktor politik, sosial, ekonomi, dan pendidikan. Rusaknya lingkungan, berkurangnya habitat populasi sumber daya alam, menimbulkan kesadaran masyarakat sehingga mendorong pelaksanaan sasi kembali. Preservasi budaya sasi merupakan langkah tepat sebagai bentuk hidup berkelanjutan dan pendidikan memegang peranan penting lebih khusus di Perguruan Tinggi sebagai pencetak calon pendidik. Hasil Karena itu pengembangan desain instruktusional model ADDIE menghasilkan produk model preservasi kearifan lokal sasi berbasis Education for sustainable development melalui pembelajaran IPS menunjukan peningkatan rerata hasil belajar baik dari aspek pengetahuan, sikap dan ketrampilan. ;---The sustainable living that is offered in sasi is highly relevant to the global challenges of the 21st century concerning the discourse of local wisdom in the management of natural resources that will be exhausted if done unsustainably and sustainable.Things to understand how to sasi in the life of indigenous peoples of Saparua? how sasi can support sustainable living of indigenous people of Saparua? why sasi weaken and disappear in Saparua? Why does sasi still survive in some villages in Saparua? And how to preserve sasi in education, especially in social studies at Pattimura University? To answer these questions the research method used is the study of ethnography. Through observation, interviews and documents. Research subjects were selected based on the criteria and professions, experience, abilities and knowledge possessed about sasi. Furthermore, the development of ADDIE model learning design that produces a model product preserving local wisdom sasi based on education for sustainable development through IPS learning in History and Geography Education Studies Program of Pattimura University. The results showed that the sasi began to weaken and disappeared more than 75% in Saparua despite efforts to revitalize some villages because the sasi can support the sustainable living of Saparua society reflected in the five pillars of sustanability namely economic, social, environment, culture and politics. Some things that are assumed to be the cause of the sasi that began to weaken and disappear on the island of Saparua, among others, political factors, social, economic, and education. The destruction of the environment, the declining habitat of the natural resource population, raises the awareness of the community so as to encourage the re-implementation of the sasi. The preservation of cultural sasi is an appropriate step as a form of sustainable living and education plays a more important role especially in Higher Education which produces prospective teachers. Therefore, the development of the ADDIE model of learning designs produces a model product for the preservation of local wisdom sasi based on education for sustainable development through IPS learning which shows improvement in learning outcomes, attitudes and skills.
