Abstract

Permainan futsal mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat, permainan ini mendapatkan perhatian yang cukup tinggi baik dikalangan olahraga pendidikan, rekreasi maupun prestasi, dalam pertandingan profesional maupun non profesional sangat penting tingkat kecerdasan emosional untuk menopang keterampilan bermain saat dilapang untuk mengontrol diri sendiri ataupun orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecerdasan emosional terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain atlet futsal Akademi Mayasari Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan instrument angket kecerdasan emosional dan penilaian keterampilan bermain menggunakan instrument GPAI (Games Performance Assessment Instrument). Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah atlet futsal Akademi Mayasari Bandung sebanyak 17 orang dansampelyang digunakan peneliti adalah atlet futsal Akademi Mayasari Bandung sebanyak 17 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kecerdasan emosional terhadap tingkat keterampilan bermain atlet futsal Akademi Mayasari Bandung. Penulis menyarankan kepada para pelatih futsal untuk mengembangkan kemampuan atlet binaannya dengan memperhatikan faktor kecerdasan emosional terhadap seorang atlet dan peneliti selanjutnya perlu diadakan penelitian yang lebih lanjut dengan jumlah variabel yang lebih banyak, agar diperoleh hasil penelitian yang lebih baik dari penelitian yang penulis lakukan dikarenakan masih banyak faktor lain yang bisa mempengaruhi tingkat keterampilan bermain atlet itu sendiri;---The futsal game is experiencing a fairly rapid development, this game gets a high enough attention among sports education, recreation and achievement, in professional and non-professional competitions it is very important the level of emotional intelligence to support playing skills when fielded to control yourself or others.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence to the skill level of playing Mayasari Academy futsal athlete Bandung.The research method used in this research is descriptive research method with emotional intelligence questionnaire and assessment of playing skills using the GPAI instrument (Games Performance Assessment Instrument).The population of this study were 17 Mayasari Academy of futsal athletes in Bandung and the sample used by researchers was Mayasari Academy Bandung futsal athlete as many as 17 people who were selected using total sampling technique.Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was no significant relationship between the level of emotional intelligence on the skill level of playing Mayasari Academy futsal athletes in Bandung.The author suggests futsal trainers to develop the abilities of their trained athletes by paying attention to the emotional intelligence factor of an athlete and further researchers need to conduct further research with more variable, so that the results of the research are better than the research that the authors do because there are still many other factors that can affect the level of skill of the athlete's own playing.
