Abstract

Anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan, kondisi mentalnya berada di bawah normal, namun secara fisik berkembang seperti anak normal pada umumnya, terutama yang berhubungan dengan seksualnya. Mereka tidak mempunyai pengetahuan yang cukup untuk mengerti soal seks, sehingga mereka sangat memerlukan bimbingan dan pelayanan tentang pendidikan seksual. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pendahuluan, di SLB C Sukapura Bandung terdapat permasalahan mengenai pemahaman anak mengenai pengenalan organ seksual khususnya pada aspek perawatan organ seksual, namun lembaga sudah mengupayakan program pendidikan seks di sekolah, tetapi pada aspek perawatan organ seks sekolah belum memberikan program yang rinci pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program perawatan organ seksual untuk anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan di SLB C Sukapura Bandung. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap, yang pertama studi pendahuluan dan pengembangan program. Teknik pengumpulan data pada studi pendahuluan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Tahap kedua pengolahan data dilakukan pada hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh beberapa ahli, kemudian dianalisis melalui langkah-langkah yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan program perawatan organ seks untuk anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Program ini terdri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu mengidentifikasi, menentukan tujuan yang akan dicapai, menentukan target apa yang harus di kuasai anak, melaksanakan pembelajaran, dan melakukan evaluasi. Melalui program perawatan organ seksual ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru dalam memberikan layanan yang lebih sistematis dan dapat dievaluasi sehingga siswa diharapkan dapat memiliki pengetahuan perawatan organ seksual yang dapat di aplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Children with intellectual difficulties have lower mental conditions. However they tend to grow normally like others especially on the aspect of sexual growth. They are in need of guidance and treatment about sexual education because they’re not capable understanding it all by themselves due to their mental condition. There are several problems of understanding the introduction of sexual organs among them specifically on the aspect of the former treatments based on preliminary observation at Sukapura Extraordinary School C in Bandung. However, the institution has did put an effort of organizing a sex education program at the school although they have not yet gone into depth and details on the aspect of treating sexual organs to the students. This research aims to develop a sexual organs treatment program for students having intellectual difficulties at Sukapura Extraordinary School C, Bandung. Research and developmental methods with qualitative approach are used. This research is also based on two stages. The first is the study on introduction and developmental program. Interviews, observations, and documentation studies are the techniques which are used to collect the data during the study of introduction program. The data was processed by several experts on result validation. Then, the data went through steps such as data reduction, data display, and conclusion attempt. The treatment on sexual organs program for children with intellectual difficulties was found, acquired and validated by experts. This program is built on several stages such as identifications, setting an aim of accomplishment, determining the children’s’ target to acquire, executing learning, and evaluation assessment. It is hoped that through this treatment of sexual organs program that the teachers benefit from the help in giving services and guidance which are more systematic and that the teachers are able to evaluate to the point that the students are able to possess the knowledge of treating sexual organs and applicable in their daily lives.
