Abstract

Peserta didik tunarungu mengalami kesulitan dalam hal meningat informasi yang bersifat verbal, termasuk kegiatan menghafal surat pendek Al Qur’an karena saat pelafalannya tidak lengkap, kurang jelas, dan tidak lancar. Maka, dibutuhkan media yang berbasis visual berbentuk video, salah satunya dengan media movie maker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari penggunaan media movie maker dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal surat pendek Al Qur’an peserta didik tunarungu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test post-test dilakukan terhadap sepuluh peserta didik tunarungu tingkat SMPLB di SLB B Prima Bhakti Mulia. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunkan statistika non-parametrik uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian, diperoleh peningkatan skor mulai 43 skor sampai 78 skor setelah penggunaan media tersebut. Penggunaan media movie maker terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal surat pendek dalam aspek kelengkapan, kejelasan dan kelancaran. Peneliti merekomendasikan dalam penggunaan media movie maker harus lebih bervariatif tampilan gambar dan teks bergerak;---Deaf learners have difficulty in remembering verbal information, including memorizing short Qur'anic letters because the pronunciation is incomplete, unclear, and not smooth. So, it takes visual-based media in the form of video, one of them is with media movie maker. This study chose the objective to determine the effectiveness of using movie maker media in improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an's short letters of deaf students. This research method uses an experimental method with the design of one group pre-test post-test conducted on ten junior high school students at high school level at SLB BPrima Bhakti Mulia. Processing and analysis data using the Wilcoxon test non-parametric statistics. The results of the study, obtained an increase in scores from 43 scores to 78 scores after the use of the media. The use of movie maker media has proven effective in improving the ability to memorize short letters in terms of completeness, clarity and smoothness. Researchers recommend that the use of movie maker media should be more varied in the appearance of moving images and text.
