Abstract

Rendahnya kinerja karyawan yang ditandai dengan ketidaktercapaian target kinerja karyawan, merupakan permasalahan dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII. Jika masalah ini tidak segera diatasi, akan menghambat pencapaian kinerja, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui deskriptif dan survei eksplanatori. Sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari karyawan PTPN VIII. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan alat bantu software SPSS dan AMOS 24. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan persepsi responden adalah: (1) kepemimpinan stratejik berada pada kategori efektif, penciptaan pengetahuan berada pada kategori efektif, perilaku inovatif berada pada kategori tinggi, dan kinerja karyawan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi; (2) kepemimpinan stratejik berpengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku inovatif, sedangkan penciptaan pengetahuan berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku inovatif; (3) kepemimpinan stratejik berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku inovatif, sedangkan penciptaan pengetahuan berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan penelitian ditemukan model hipotetik tentang pengembangan kinerja karyawan dalam perspektif perilaku inovatif.;---The low performance of employees is indicated by the failure to achieve the performance targets of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII is a problem in human resource management. If this problem is not addressed immediately, it will have an impact on the achievement of performance, productivity and sustainability of the company. The research objective is to describe and analyze the formulation of research problems. The research method uses a quantitative approach through descriptive and explanatory surveys. Sources of research data were obtained from PTPN VIII employees. Data analysis techniques used were Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS and AMOS 24 software tools. The findings of the research based on respondents' perceptions revealed that: (1) strategic leadership was in the effective category, knowledge creation was in the effective category, innovative behavior was in high category, and employee performance is in a very high category; (2) strategic leadership has a negative effect on innovative behavior, while knowledge creation has a positive effect on innovative behavior; (3) strategic leadership has a positive effect on employee performance through innovative behavior, while knowledge creation has a negative effect on employee performance; (4) hypothetical model of employee performance development in the perspective of innovative behavior
