Abstract

This study departs from the problem of "How to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of grade 2 CTL approach? '. The purpose of this study was to improved science learning in primary schools to improve learning outcomes through the implementation of CTL approach. The method used classroom action research. Data were collected through written tests, observations and interviews. The results provide a recommendation that CTL approach can be used as one approach to science learning because it can make learning more meaningful and improve student learning outcomes.
Penelitian ini berangkat dari masalah “Bagaimana meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 2 melalui penerapan pendekatan CTL?”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memeperbaiki pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar dengan meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui penerapan pendekatan CTL. Metode yang digunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, hasil observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bahwa pendekatan CTL dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran IPA karena dapat menjadikan pembelajaran lebih bermakna dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
