Abstract

ABSTRAK Kompetensi pedagogik merupakan kemampuan guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran peserta didik dengan berbasis pendekatan yang bersifat mendidik, sehingga melaksanakan fungsi profesionalnya dengan lebih efektif. Kompetensi ini berguna bagi pendidik dalam rangka memahami fenomena pendidikan secara sistematis, sehingga diperoleh pemahaman yang jelas mengenai objek studinya, memberikan petunjuk bagaimana seharusnya pendidik bertindak dalam rangka mendidik anak, dan apa yang seharusnya dilaksanakan, demi menghindari terjadinya kesalahan-kesalahan dalam praktek mendidik anak. Dengan demikian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis penguasaan guru dalam kompetensi pedagogik di SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan; (2) menganalisis upaya-upaya yang dilakukan guru dan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru; (3) menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang ditemui guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini 3 orang, yakni guru pada mata pelajaran produktif yang belum mendapat pengetahuan mengenai kompetensi pedagogik secara formal. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) penguasaan guru dalam kompetensi pedagogik di SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan, yakni: (a) belum menguasai karakteristik peserta didik; (b) belum menguasai teori-teori belajar dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik; (3) belum dapat mengembangkan kurikulum yang terkait dengan mata pelajaran; (4) belum dapat menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran secara maksimal. Adapun upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik, yaitu: (a) mengikuti in house training; (b) mengikuti kegiatan MGMP (c) meningkatkan kualifikasi akademik; (2) kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru yang bersumber dari diri guru sendiri, yaitu: (a) kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik; (b) guru merasa mereka tidak punya waktu untuk melakukan meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Guru, Kompetensi Pedagogik ABSTRACT Pedagogical competence is the ability of teachers in managing learners' learning based on approaches that are educational in nature, so that it performs its professional functions more effectively. This competency is useful for educators in order to understand the phenomenon of education systematically, so that a clear understanding of the object of study is obtained, providing instructions on how educators should act in order to educate children, and what should be implemented in the practice of children's education, in order to avoid the mistakes in the practice of educating children. Thus this study aims to: (1) analyze the mastery of teachers in pedagogical competencies at SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan; (2) analyzing the efforts made by teachers and schools to improve teacher pedagogical competence; (3) analyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors encountered by teachers in improving the teacher's pedagogical competence. This research uses a qualitative approach. There were 3 participants involved in this study, namely teachers on productive subjects who had not yet received formal knowledge of pedagogical competencies. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed (1) the mastery of teachers in pedagogical competence at SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan, namely: (a) not mastering the characteristics of students; (b) not yet mastering learning theories and principles of learning that educate; (3) have not been able to develop curriculum related to subjects; (4) have not been able to use information and communication technology for the benefit of learning to the fullest. The teacher's efforts in improving pedagogical competence, namely: (a) following in-house training; (b) attend MGMP activities (c) improve academic qualifications; (2) the obstacles faced by teachers originating from the teacher himself, namely: (a) lack of awareness of the importance of improving pedagogical competence; (b) Teachers feel they do not have time to improve pedagogical competence.
