Abstract

Terkait dengan pengembangan tanggung jawab perusahaan kepada masyarakat, yang disebut dengan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), dahulu hanya merupakan kegiatan philanthropis saja, dan sekarang telah bergeser menjadi peran yang mengandung kemanfaatan yang lebih tinggi dengan memberdayakan masyarakat penerima bantuan agar dapat hidup mandiri. Penelitian ini dilandaskan pada keingintahuan peneliti mengenai: kondisi empiris penyelenggaraan program CSR dalam perpektif pemberdayaan masyarakat, implementasi program CSR dalam perspektif pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan faktor-faktor yang mendukung serta menghambat . Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi, peneliti melakukan pengamatan, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan mengolah semua data untuk menjawab ketiga pertanyaan penelitian. Dari kegiatan penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa PT. Holcim Tuban Plant sangat serius melaksanakan program CSR ini, dengan dibentuknya divisi/departemen yang khusus mengurus CSR. yaitu General Affairs dan Comrel Manager yang membawahi kegiatan CSRnya. Di lapangan kegiatan dikhususkan lagi sesuai bidang-bidang layanan pada masyarakatnya. Bagian ini yang mengelola kegiatan pemberdayaan, dengan pusat kegiatan masyarakat, mereka membetuk kelompok-kelompok yang saling membelajarkan sesuai dengan pilihan kegiatannya. CSR dilaksanakan dengan persiapan yang matang dari awal sampai akhir program, bahkan after program. Implikasinya yang tampak jelas adalah warga belajar menjadi berdaya dan mandiri serta well-educated dengan semakin terbukanya wawasan tentang kehidupan yang mandiri. Di sisi lain, muncul juga faktor-faktor penghambat seperti pendamping yang sempat menyerah dalam proses dan beberapa warga belajar yang kurang percaya diri, sehingga ada warga belajar yang tidak mau berproses hingga akhir program, Secara keseluruhan, peneliti menggarisbawahi bahwa program pemberdayaan masyarakat pada dasarnya adalah suatu kegiatan yang berkaitan erat dengan pendidikan dan manusia. Karena itu, peneliti melihat perlunya diberikan kepada mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan masyarakat tentang pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam merencanakan pelaksanaan program CSR pemberdayaan masyarakat. Selain itu, perlu juga dilibatkan profesi pendidik masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program CSR pemberdayaan masyarakat. ;---This dissertation is entitled "Corporate Social Responsibily (CSR) in the Perspective of Community Empowerment (Study at PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk Tuban Plant)". Associated with the development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it was once only a philanthropic activity, and has now shifted to a role that has higher benefits by empowering the community to live independently. This research is based on the researcher's curiosity about: empirical condition of CSR program, implementation in the community empowerment perspective, and factors that support and hinder CSR implementation in the community empowerment perspective. Using qualitative method and phenomenology approach, the researcher conducted observation, interview, documentation study and processed all data to answer the three research questions. From this research, the researcher concluded that PT. Holcim Tuban Plant is very serious in implementing this CSR program, with the establishment of a division / department specializing in CSR, namely General Affairs and Comrel Manager which is in charge of CSR activities. In situ, the activity is devoted to the service of the community. This section that manages the empowerment activities, with the center of community activities, they set up groups that mutually teaching-learning in accordance with the choice of activities. CSR is implemented with careful preparation from beginning to end of the program, even after the program. The apparent implications are that the learners become empowered and self-sufficient and well-educated with an increasing insight into independent life. On the other hand, there are also inhibiting factors such as counselors who had given up in the process and some learners learned less confidently, so that there were residents of learning who did not want to proceed until the end of the program. Overall, the researcher underlines that the community empowerment program is essentially an activity that is closely related to education and human beings. Therefore, the researcher sees the need to provide students majoring in community education about knowledge and skills in planning the implementation of CSR program community empowerment. In addition, it should also be involved in the profession of community educators in the process of planning and implementation of CSR programs community empowerment.
