Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai jumlah pengangguran menurut lulusan terbuka di kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode expost-facto. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik kelas XI Program Keahlian TKR SMKN 1 Soreang Kabupaten Bandung yang berjumlah 34 orang dan 54 orang dari SMKN 1 Katapang Kabupaten Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan penelitian kesiapan kerja peserta didik yang sudah melaksanakan praktik kerja industri di SMKN 1 Soreang dan SMKN 1 Katapang Kabupaten Bandung sudah sangat baik. Begitu juga dengan pelaksanaan prakerin di masing-masing sekolah SMKN 1 Katapang Kabupaten Bandung dan SMKN 1 Soreang Kabupaten Bandung sudah menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik. Mulai dari pengorganisasian, perencanaan, penyelenggaraan, pengawasan prakerin. Sehingga perlu ditingkatkan lagi pelaksanaan prakerin di SMK agar peserta didik lebih serius dan bersungguh-sungguh saat melaksanakan prakerin di industri karena dengan kegiatan prakerin tersebut akan memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi peserta didik kemudian hari. ;--- This research is motivated by problems regarding the number of unemployed according to open graduates in Bandung regency. This research uses expost-facto method, The research sample consisted of class students XI expertise Program TKR totaling 34 people from SMK Negeri 1 Soreang Kabupaten Bandung and 54 people from SMK Negeri 1 Katapang Kabupaten Bandung. Based on the findings and discussion of research on work readiness of students who have carried out industrial work practices at SMK Negeri 1 Soreang Kabupaten Bandung and SMK Negeri 1 Katapang Kabupaten Bandung already very good. Likewise with the implementation of internships in each school SMKN 1 Katapang Kabupaten Bandung dan SMKN 1 Soreang Kabupaten Bandung already showing very good criteria. Starting from organizing, planning, organizing and supervision intership. So that it needs to be improved again the implementation of internship at SMK so that students are more serious and earnest when implementing intership in the industry because with the internship activities will provide valuable experience for students later on.
