Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan metacognitive inner speech. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen, kelompok kontrol non ekuivalen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII yang dipilih secara purposif. Instrumen berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, angket kemandirian belajar dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t, Mann-Whitney, dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan metacognitive inner speech lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci: Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, kemandirian belajar, pendekatan metacognitive inner speech. The purpose of this research was to determine the students learning outcome and improvement of mathematical problem solving ability and self-regulated learning through metacognitive inner speech approach. The research design was quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group. The sample in this research are class VII students of a junior high school at Sumedang were selected by purposive technique. Research instruments used mathematical problem solving ability test, and questionnaire scale self-regulated learning and observation sheets. The data analysis used t-test, Mann-Whitney, and descriptive. The results showed that students learning outcome and improvement of mathematical problem solving ability and self-regulated learning through metacognitive inner speech approach better than conventional learning.
