Abstract

Konflik merupakan suatu keniscayaan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sumber konflik dapat terjadi diakibatkan oleh berbagai hal, dari mulai perbedaan persepsi, atau pun latar belakang seseorang. Kehidupan dalam Lapas dengan berbagai latar belakang agama, budaya dan permasalahan hukum yang berbeda dikhawatirkan terjadi konflik baik itu antara narapidana itu sendiri atau pun dengan sipir sebagai Pembina di Lapas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan resolusi konflik interpersonal antara sipir dengan narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Garut. Subjek utama dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang yang terdiri diantara sipir dan narapidana secara purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis melalui metode analisis Milles-Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Resolusi Konflik Komunikasi Interpersonal Antara Sipir dengan Narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Garut sudah cukup efektif untuk meminimalisir kekacauan di Lapas dan membuat seluruh warga binaan nyaman berada di Lapas tersebut. Konflik yang terjadi di Lapas Garut ini pun masih cukup rigan, tidak ada masalah yang berat hingga timbul kerusuhan. Konflik yang terjadi hanya kesalahpahaman atau adanya perbedaan persepsi baik itu antara narapidana itu sendiri atau antar narapidana dengan sipir.;---Conflict is a necessity that cannot be separated in daily life. The source of conflict can occur due to various things, ranging from differences in perception, or even someone's background. Life in prison with a variety of religious, cultural and legal issues that are different is feared to occur either between the prisoners themselves or the guards as Trustees in the prison. The purpose of this study are: 1) to describe interpersonal conflict resolution between wardens and inmates at the Garut Penitentiary. The main subjects in this study were five people consisting of guards and prisoners by purposive sampling. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The collected data were analyzed through the Milles-Huberman analysis method. The results showed that the Interpersonal Communication Conflict Resolution Between the Guards and Prisoners in the Garut Correctional Institution was effective enough to minimize the chaos in prison and make all prisoners comfortable in the prison. The conflict that occurred in Garut Prison was still quite rigan, there were no serious problems until riots broke out. Conflicts that occur are only misunderstandings or differences in perceptions between prisoners themselves or between prisoners and wardens.
