Abstract
Minum kopi merupakan gaya hidup sebagian orang di jaman sekarang hampir di seluruh indonesia dan menjadi tradisi di sebagian daerah besarnya penghasilan kopi di Indonesia serta beragamnya kopi di Indonesia menjadikan Indonesia sebagai salah satu penghasil kopi terbesar di dunia. Dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia, Jawa Barat merupakan penghasil kopi yang di perhitungkan di tingkat dunia, terbukti dengan di menangkannya enam peringkat dalam event Specialty Coffee Association of America Expo. Kopi di Jawa Barat yang di kenal java preanger ini sangat di perhitungkan dan berpeluang menjadi salah satu kopi terbaik di indonesia. Tapi selama ini di Jawa Barat belum ada institusi resmi yang memfasilitasi penelitian dan pengembangan tanaman kopi sehingga perkembangan kualitas kopi di Jawa Barat tidak terlalu signifikan setra kurangnya pelatihan yang baik untuk tanaman kopi seperti dalam hal ini penyemaian, pembibitan, penanaman, perawatan, dan pascapanen tanaman kopi. Dalam hal ini pusat penelitian dan pengembangan tanaman kopi bisa menjadi institusi yang bisa menjadikan kopi dari Jawa Barat meningkat baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya serta bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan petani-petani kopi di jawabarat;--- Drinking coffee is a lifestyle most people today are almost all over the country and become a tradition in most areas. the magnitude of the earnings of coffee in Indonesia as well as the various coffee in Indonesia made Indonesia as one of the world's largest coffee producer. From different regions in Indonesia, West Java is a producer of coffee in the estimate on a global level, as evidenced by the six menangkannya in the ranking in the event Specialty Coffee Association of America Expo. Coffee in West Java which is in familiar java preanger is very in the estimate and a chance to be one of the best coffee in indonesia. But as long as it's in West Java, there has been no official institutions which facilitate the research and development of coffee plant so that the development of quality coffee in West Java is not too significant as well as the lack of good training for the coffee plant as in This, seedling, planting, care, and post harvest coffee plant. In this case the center of research and development of the coffee plant can be an institution that can make coffee from the West Java increased both the quality as well as quantity as well as increasing knowledge of coffee farmers in West Java
