Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa yang menggunakan metode problem posing dengan metode konvensional, menguji perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa pada self regulated learning di berbagai tingkatan, serta mengukur hubungan metode pembelajaran dan self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas X IIS SMAN 1 Parongpong Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasi experiment. Data kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa diperoleh dari soal essay sebanyak 5 soal dan data self regulated learning diperoleh dari kuesioner. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa yang menggunakan metode problem posing dengan metode konvensional pada mata pelajaran ekonomi; terdapat perbedaan kemampuan memecahkan masalah pada self regulated learning tinggi, sedang dan rendah; serta terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disarankan agar menggunakan metode problem posing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa. ;---This study examined the differences students' problem-solving ability who used problem posing methods with conventional methods, examined the differences students' problem-solving ability in self regulated learning at various levels, and measured the relationship of learning methods and self regulated learning on students' problem-solving skills. The study was conducted in class X IIS of SMAN 1 Parongpong, Kabupatan Bandung Barat. This study used a quasi experiment research design. Students' problem-solving skills were obtained from 5 essay questions and self regulated learning data was obtained from the questionnaire. The results showed that there were differences in students' problem-solving skills who used problem posing methods with conventional methods; there were differences in problem solving skills in high, medium and low self regulated learning; and there were interactions between learning methods and self regulated learning on students' problem-solving skills. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to use problem posing methods to improve students' problem solving skills.
