Abstract

Ketersediaan alat dalam pelaksanaan praktik kayu di workshop adalah representasi dari layak atau tidaknya kegiatan praktikum itu dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketersediaan alat di workshop dalam pelaksanaan praktik kayu mahasiswa DPTS FPTK UPI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif Deskriptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Tes, Observasi dan wawancara.Data primer yang di dapatkan dengan cara observasi atau melihat langsung ketersediaan alat di workshop untuk penunjang pelaksanaan praktikum kayu. Adapula dengan cara wawancara agar data lebih valid dan tidak diragukan lagi keabsahannya. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan seluruh mahasiswa PTB DPTS FPTK UPI angkatan 2016. Untuk data pendukung atau data sekunder, dilakukan tes yang di kerjakan oleh 36 mahasiswa PTB 2016 guna untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa akan materi yang sedang diteliti oleh penulis.Penelitian ini membahas tentang tingkat ketersediaan alat dan beberapa aspek yang menganalisis tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa tentang materi sambungan bibir miring berkait. Untuk tingkat ketersediaan alat praktikum sudah memadai antara rasio jumlah alat dengan mahasiswa, maupun dengan kebutuhan kerja.Dan secara keseluruhan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai materi sambungan bibir miring berkait dapat dikatakan paham, terlihat dari nilai rata-rata yang mereka dapat, terdapat lebih dari setengah sampel mendapatkan nilai di atas 80. ;--- The availability of equipment in the implementation of wood practices in the workshop is a representation of whether or not the practicum is feasible. This study aims to determine the level of availability of tools in the workshop in the implementation of the wooden practice of the DPTS FPTK UPI students. This research is Descriptive Quantitative research. The data collection instruments are using Tests, Observations, and interviews. Primary data obtained by observation or direct observation of the availability of tools in the workshop to support the implementation of the wood lab. There is also an interview method to validate the data. The sample of this research was all of the students of PTB DPTS FPTK UPI 2016’s graduate. For supporting data or secondary data, a test was carried out by 36 PTB students to determine the level of students' understanding of the material being studied by the author. This study discusses the level of available tools and several aspects that analyze the level of students' understanding of the connection material of the sloping lip. The level of availability of practicum tools is adequate between the ratio of the number of tools to students, as well as the needs of work. And overall the level of student understanding of the hooked sloping lip connection material can be understood, seen from the average value they get; there are more than half of the samples get a value above 80.
