Abstract

Model kooperatif merupakan model yang dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar sistematis dan berpikir menyenangkan pada materi pembelajaran. Siswa lebih dilatih untuk saling bekerjasama satu sama lain dalam suasana yang menyenangkan. Selain itu, media audiovisual merupakan media yang memiliki unsur suara dan unsur gambar sehingga siswa dapat termotivasi dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu (1) mengetahui kemampuan membaca puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandung sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model Kooperatif berbantuan media Audiovisual di kelas eksperimen; (2) mengetahui kemampuan membaca puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandung sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model terlangsung di kelas kontrol; (3) mengetahui perbedaan yang siginifikan antara kemampuan membaca puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandung di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keingintahuan peneliti terhadap keefektifan model kooperatif berbantuan media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi. Permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu siswa kurang berani dalam berpuisi dan kurang menyukai sastra. Hal tersebut disebabkan kurangnya metode atau media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi. Oleh karena itu peneliti memberikan solusi dengan menerapkan model kooperatif berbantuan media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain “Pretes-postest nonequivalent control grup design”. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan penghitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung yang didapatkan adalah 4,287. Jika melihat dari signifikansi nilai ttabel, thitung > 2,048, artinya thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak. Selain itu nilai signifikansi t test terhadap perhitungan uji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah 0,000. Nilai signifikansi uji t lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Selain itu diperoleh juga nilai regresi sebesar 0,010, angka tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,010< 0,05). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model kooperatif berbantuan media audiovisual berpengaruh terhadap pembelajaran membaca puisi;--- Cooperative Model is a model which can encourage students in systematic learning and pleasurable thinking toward learning material. Students are more trained to work cooperatively each other in an pleasurable situation. Moreover, audiovisual media is a media which has sounds and pictures element so as to students can be motivated in learning. The purposes of this study were to (1) observe the poetry reading acquisition of students class VIII SMP 19 Bandung before and after applying cooperative model utilizing audiovisual media in experimental class; (2) to investigate the poetry reading acquisition of students class VIII SMP 19 Bandung before and after applying directed model in control class, (3) to identify the significant difference between poetry reading acquisition students of class VIII SMP 19 Bandung in experimental and control class. This study was underlied by researcher’s concern toward the effectiveness of cooperative model using audiovisual media in poetry reading learning. The problems were found that the students were not too courageous in reading poetry and tend to ignore literature. Those things happened because of lack of method or learning media used by teacher in learning. Therefore, the researcher gave a solution by applying cooperative learning using audiovisual media in poetry reading learning. The method of this study employed quasi-experimental method with its design pretest-postest nonequivalent control group. The sample was 30 students in experimental class and 30 students in control class. Based on the calculation of hypothesis test, it was gained the t-score 4.287. If it was seen the significant score of t-table, t-score > 2.048, meaning that t-score > t-table therefore H0 was rejected. Moreover, the significant score of t-test toward the calculatiom of hypothesis test was 0,000. The significant score of t-test was smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) therefore H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Furthermore, the regression score was 0.010, that score was smaller than 0.05 (0.010 < 0.05). It proves that cooperative model using audio-visual media influenced poetry reading learning.
