Abstract

Pariwisata pedesaan telah menjadi alternatif dari beberapa destinasi yang dipilih oleh wisatawan. Namun, masih ada sedikit perbedaan pendapat atau pemahaman tentang pariwisata pedesaan terutama pada aspek sosial-ekonomi pedesaan di Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian secara menyeluruh dilakukan terhadap persepsi masyarakat desa di Kabupaten Bandung terhadap perkembangan pariwisata. Dimana dampak yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas pariwisata pedesaan akan mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terhadap industri pariwisata. Penelitian kepada masyarakat lokal dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi mereka terhadap perkembangan pariwisata dalam kerangka model Doxey’s Irritation Index. Penelitian kualitatif dipilih dengan menggunakan model analisis domain dari Spardley (Etnografi) untuk memperluas studi literatur serta membentuk instrumen dasar penelitan. Hasil dari wawancara digunakan untuk penelitian terhadap masyarakat dari 10 desa wisata Kabupaten Bandung. Desa wisata ini dipilih untuk memberikan perbandingan dan menganalisis hubungan antara dampak pariwisata dengan persepsi masyarakat untuk memprediksi tingkat indeks iritasi masyarakat lokal. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 3 domain, yaitu, (1) keterlibatan masyarakat, (2) dampak perekonomian, (3) kualitas pengelolaan. Dimana tiga domain tersebut menjadi indikator dalam memodifikasi tingkat indeks iritasi Doxey’s. Hasil peninjauan terhadap kerangka model Doxey’s seharusnya dapat menunjukan tingkat iritasi pada suatu komunitas atau situasi. Akan tetapi kurangnya indikator spesifik membuat sulit mengukur tingkat iritasi suatu komunitas atau situasi. Maka dari itu diperoleh hipotesis tingkat indeks iritasi sesuai modifikasi indikator dalam kerangka model Doxey’s Irritation Indeks dari 3 domain yang ditemukan. Dari hasil penelitian, peneliti memberikan rekomendasi pada pihak terkait untuk memberikan gambaran sementara dari refleksi persepsi masyarakat untuk membatasi pertumbuhan iritasi ke arah yang lebih serius, ;---Rural tourism has become an alternative to several destinations selected by tourists. However, there is little difference of opinion or understanding about rural tourism, especially in the socio-economic aspects of rural in Bandung Regency. A thorough research conducted on community perception in Bandung Regency toward tourism development. Where impacts resulting from rural tourism activities will affect people's perceptions of the tourism industry. Research to local communities was done to determine their perceptions toward tourism developments in Doxey's Irritation Index framework. Qualitative research was chosen by using a domain analysis model from Spardley (Ethnography) to expand the literature study and establish basic research instruments. The results of the interviews were used for research on the residents of 10 rural tourism destination of Bandung Regency. This tourism village was chosen to provide a comparison and analyze the relationship between the impact of tourism and the public perception to predict the local irritant index level. The results are obtained 3 domains, namely: (1) community involvement, (2) economic impact, and (3) management quality. Where the three domains become indicators in modifying Doxey's irritation index level. The results of the review of Doxey's framework should be able to identify the level of irritation in a community or situation. However, the lack of specific indicators makes it difficult to measure the level of irritation of a community or situation. Hence, the hypothesis of irritation index level according to modification of indicators in Doxey’s Irritation Index framework of 3 domains found. From the result, researcher can provide the recommendations for Government also the community to provide a transient picture of community perception reflection to limit the growth rate of irritation to a more irritated.
