Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya self regulated learning pada jenjang SMP, mengingat kebutuhan dan tuntutan belajar yang semakin kompleks. Peserta didik harus memahami cara belajar dan memiliki kemampuan untuk menguasai serta mengendalikan dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kategori self regulated learning peserta didik dan memperoleh program bimbingan belajar untuk meningkatkan self regulated learning peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 310 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket pengungkap self regulated learning, yaitu berupa angket tertutup dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategori self regulated learning peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung berada pada kategori buruk, artinya peserta didik memiliki motivasi rendah, dan tidak strategis dalam belajar. Rumusan program bimbingan belajar diarahkan untuk meningkatkan self regulated learning melalui layanan bimbingan klasikal dan bimbingan kelompok;---The background of the research is the importance of self-regulated learning at the junior secondary level, considering the increasingly complex needs and demands of learning. Students must understand how to learn and have the ability to master and control themselves. This study aims to determine the category of self-regulated learning of students and obtain a tutoring program to improve self-regulated learning of 2nd grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bandung Academic Year 2018/2019. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample used was saturated samples, with a sample of 310 respondents. Data collection used is a self-regulated learning disclosure questionnaire, which is a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results showed that the self-regulated learning category of 2nd grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bandung was in the bad category, it means that students had low motivation, and were not strategic in learning. The formulation of tutoring programs is directed at improving self regulated learning through classical guidance and group guidance services.
