Abstract

Siklus I tindakan I pemahaman sebesar 46,67% dan keterampilan bermain 36,67%. Siklus I tindakan II pemahaman sebesar 53,33% dan keterampilan bermain 50,00%. Siklus II tindakan I pemahaman sebesar 66,67% dan keterampilan bermain keterampilan bermain 76,67%. Purpose of this study was to improve understanding and playing skills in invasion games for elementary school students through the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) model. The research method used is classroom action research, using a measuring instrument observation sheet assessment of play comprehension and Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). The participants of this research were grade V students of elementary schools with a total of 30 students. The results of theresearch pre-test understanding of 36.67% and 20.00% playing skills. The first cycle of action I understanding was 46.67% and playing skills 36.67%. The first cycle of action II understanding was 53.33% and playing skills were 50.00%. The second cycle of action I understanding was 66.67% and playing skills were 76.67%. Cycle II: Action II comprehension of 80.00% and 86.67% playability. It can be concluded that these results indicate an increase in each of their actions and show that through the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) model in learning invasion games can improve students' understanding and playing skills.
